Thats what i like about eternal, the mods thet feels unuseful or very situational, may be veeeery useful as you progress. Good video. This is genuinely one of my favorite pieces of media. It really means a lot to me, and I’m currently going through my yearly play of it. For a cool detail you might have missed, and one of my favorite, the little guitar guy in the main city is modeled after disasterpiece’s logo, which is a skull made of two quarter notes. His design and the acoustic guitar that enters the piece is a cute homage for someone who added so much to the experience of the game.

I come from the Hanimex Pong System, Colecovision, Atari 2600, C64, Amiga and PC days of gaming. My last PC upgrade and full playthrough of a game was in 2005 until I got a Switch for my Daughter 2 years ago and played through Blasphemous 1 & 2. 6 months ago I finally got back into the PC after spending 3k on parts and then 2 weeks ago got a hold of Doom Eternal. WOW!... Amazing!!! 😮 I'm 50 but I've stiill got it ;)

You can't class this reboot a boomer shooter this isn't what both the new doom reboot is. Far as i am concern its an abomination to what the classic boomer doom game is. This is nothing more than an unreal tournament copying the double jumping and dashing along with tomb raider with the silly wall climbing and pole swinging along with the dumb grabbling hook within the shotgun mixed in with dying light parkour and quake arena this isn't what doom ever was. Even the gameplay just isn't what doom is either its just all the games i mention put into one game and called it doom because they just slapped the doom skin on it. The only thing i like about it is it looks nice as a doom game just a shame it wasn't made like the classic doom game play with these new visuals and ray tracing but instead they also put in the upgrade system runestones skill tree and dumb ways to kill an enemies and how you get health armour and ammo by doing even more dumb glory kills. Sorry this just isn't a doom game even the new shadow warrior is basically the same game and changed the skins around same idea same gameplay same grabbling hook and that goes the same with this new Serious Sam 4 game get an orb then breaking in his hands to get upgrade wow that what you have to to with this doom game as well its all the same game all with a different skin along with the new halo with the grabbling hook idea. The only different is doom looks and is better made and optimized to all of them shame its not doom anymore. As for Mick Gordon doing the music its nothing more than a screeching mess the music is bad I've play doom back in the day when it first came out along with the N64 doom that was the reason i bought the n64 just for that game and this is just awful to think you young gamers out there see this as a doom game why i stopped playing doom 2016 more than halfway through it. Its dull boring slow when moving around feels floaty shotguns sounds so underpowered with no boom to it and unresponsive. Even the Serious Sam first encounter hd and bfe rans faster with better powerful guns straight at the start of the game no skill tree or upgrading needed everything is give to you without the tedious upgrading and forces you to do things to get your guns feel a slightly better. Developer's today has no idea they just think by over complicate things with all these tedious things you have to do and upgrades system's along with overly use of game mechanics to shoot something is a fun game play experience.
