Dan, the silver 72 small block Corvette next to the orange LT-1 72 (towards the end of the video) is not Inca Silver, it is Pewter Silver. Fun fact, it was a one year only color and only 1372 Corvettes were produced with it. I own one of them. Thanks for posting, great video.

That bolt on the bottom is a body mount bolt. It is a special purpose bolt with a pointed end, that screws into the frame. It is common for the threads on those bolts to rust badly. I replaced all the body mounts on my '76, and found some of the bolts badly rusted. I could not find oem style replacement bolts anywhere. Even the Corvette restoration parts places did not have them. I wound up using common grade 8 bolts with new washers, and they seem to fit ok. The way you replace the body mounts is to loosen the bolts on one side, and remove them on the other side. Carefully lift up the body on the side you removed the bolts from, remove the old rubber mount cushions, clean the area where the cushions were, put the new ones in place, and reinstall the bolts. Do not tighten them all the way. Now go to the other side, remove the bolts, and repeat the process. Then tighten the bolts down on both sides. There are 8 body mounts, 4 per side. I also found surface rust under those covers. I used full strength muriatic acid to remove the rust, then coated the entire area inside behind those covers with POR-15. You can now get some stuff called Rusteco that does a good job removing surface rust, and is safer to use than muriatic acid. Seal those covers when reinstalling them. The tires throw water at them, and if they are not sealed, water will get behind the cover and stay in there for a long time, causing more rust.
