I agree with throwing knives but dagger sucks and the sword is in a pretty balanced place. if you die to a dagger your just not paying attention Sword is pretty strong but high risk. If you play it wrong you get punished hard.

@Fingle I've watched multiple times lights have run up on mediums with dual swords, and the lights just do way more damage. My first ever game with light, I got 13 kills with throwing knives. My second game I got 9 as light with a sword. Didn't even have dash to run, no idea what I was doing. I'd just drop in with the cash box and get 2-3 kills. Dagger in theory is fine if you're constantly glued to your team, if you can't take a res, and you're not near your team, you can be put back on the respawn timer in 1 hit. Recon senses was a great way to counter this, and removing it was a direct nerf to medium, and a huge buff to light.

@lolmoldman throwing knives are broken right now for sure, and when you are in low skill lobbies, sword and dagger are super easy too. I honestly don't know wrf embark is doing with balance right now. It'd just getting worse and worse

@Fingle fair. I agree as well, low elo you have to shuffle a few games to find teammates even remotely interested in winning vs K/DR Thank you for articulating your positions and explaining them. Really appreciate that. Definitely deserving of more subs.

@@capten272 yaaaa it’s a lot. Oh ya I forgot I did a rigid body sim for the coins 💀. 3d thumbnails for finals are really really hard. Hopefully we get some kind of cinematic mode in the future. What you could try is going into a custom with a. Friend, lowering your fov to the minimum (that’s really important to avoid it looking like a bad in game screenshot) and trying to get a nice shot in game. Then you could take that into photoshop or even stable diffusion to add details. OOOOH! You could isolate the character and use out painting ai to change the background. Dang I wanna try that now haha. Good luck!

I might honestly return to apex eventually. I don't think I'm gonna post any more finals content on this channel since the games pretty dead when It comes to viewership. I have started working with some rust youtubers doing animations so if you watch rust and start seeing some little cinematics, you know where their coming from! I'm just fatigued from Apex. As an mnk player, it's so hard to have fun, blah blah aim assist blah blah it won't beat the dead horse. Just trying to find a new game with viewership that I can make really cool animation content on.

The first of firsts

Some of these reasons are anecdotal, so believe me, if you want and don't, if you don't. It's a lot less satisfying to play controller for a few reasons. 1, aim assist makes hitting shots less satisfying, movement is not fun on controller, overall the enjoyment of games is lower on controller when co,I g from mnk. Talk to any mnk player, and they will all agree with this. The thing is, at the higher level where enjoyment and fun are not important, people ARE switching. Hal, lou, Albralelle, even timmy was talking about controller and how it is impossible to swing a pro player on sticks with mnk. At this point, I. The debate there isn't really an argument to be had. This is the truth. AA is overturned plain and simple. I guarantee respawn has plenty of data that supports this but refuse to because they want to keep their majority controller audience. And no, as much as I wish movement on mnk balanced it iut, it doesn't. For many, many reasons that I don't wanna get into here because I've already yapped enouph.

well, all the footage here is post knife rework. It's changed since then. Actually, I've gotten a lot worse because I'm not used to the new changes yet. But essentially it is the same as it was here except you can't dash through people and get the back. You have to be behind them and hit their back now but at least the hitreg is clientside now so it's a lot more predictable. Go watch Nomu's latest video here on KZbin. All those clips are new knife so you can get a good sense for how it works.

Omg, you're right this video was so good. Jeeeez just watching it again makes me want to make more videos. Im already deep into Finals so that's 100% what I would do moving on. Only issue is there's no way to get game files out of th Finals because of the CRAZY encription. Im also working on coding a plugin for Discord. Im gonna try to contact the devs and see if I can get my hands on some 3d models. After this plugin is done if I can get my hands on those models you better bet Im gonna start grinding the Finals youtube.
