this is exactly what i was looking for, tap strafe and pick up on scroll wheel up, but when i copy and pasted it into my autoexec just like you have it in the description it didnt work for the double bind

unbind any secondary binds in-game that correspond with what you change in the file. If it is bound in-game and in the file to the same key things will break.

So I'm having a weird issue with trying to do this and not sure what the fix is. I saw your reply comment stating that secondary bindings in game can mess it up but I will try to give the full picture. My goal here was to eliminate needing to swap between mouse up/down for bunny hopping, tap strafing, wall bouncing etc. When making the cfg files my in game settings were still set to forward: w / mouse wheel up, jump space bar / mouse wheel down. I'm not getting the forward action but still getting the jump action with mouse wheel down. Also I appear to have 2 seperate cfg files previously saved from installing apex with their locations being SSD: Origin Games: Apex: CFG and the second one under SSD: Origin Games: Apex: Apex: CFG: The contents of both locations look exactly the same and probably came from when I was transferring my game over to my SSD. Also I figured it would be worthy to note that when I create the text document the icon doesn't change like yours does and like another video showed. Plus when I set the launch options your video and another youtube video both had other things come up after "+exec autoexec.cfg" but mine does not. Hopefully you can help, sorry I'm dumb.

Guys, It is possible to create a CFG so that, for example, I can press the CAPS LOCK key and the game will activate/deactivate the automatic race without having to enter the game's menu.

i dont know what im doing wrong, i checked my spelling on the file and its correct and pasted in the +exec autoexec.cfg into the apex steam properties and put the line of code into my cfg file and saved it but it still isn't working for me

Been trying to test this with super gliding by binding c with +jump; +duck. The bind works but unfortunately I'm not getting the super glide off. Has anyone else tested this to see if it's better than pushing crouch+jump at the same time. Currently doing it yourself seems to be the only way from what I can tell. Edit: just watched NineLives test it, says it doesn't work.

you have to press jump and crouch within one frame of eachother not at the exact same time.

you can not super glide from a cfg because crouch and jump can not be on the exact same frame they have to be frames apart

Ya it sometimes gets messed up when you have keys bound already in-game. Try unbinding the scroll interact in-game. Let me know if that doesn't work.

I have no secondary binds to W or Interact and it does not work for me. Maybe I did something wrong but it was really straight forward. I can not loot items when in firing range with scroll wheel up thus I can not use forward with scroll up as well. Ive restarted steam 3 times and still nothing. Any tips?

You download it on Steam. lol in all seriousness, there should be a little settings button next to the play button for apex in origin. Just click in there and find launch options. Paste the +exec command in there instead of in steam. Other steps are the same except you need to find your game directory yourself.
