What if all three corners are spot on the third mirror, except the back right? There the beam is lower on the the third mirror. What do you suggest ?

Hi, I just subscribed to your channel. Thank you for your sharing your laser adjustment tips. I have a 100 watt and a 150 watt machine like your 130watt machine. The new 150 watt machine has the red nozzle that has a built in autofocus(no externally mounted AF pen like my 100 watt model). I have perfectly centered alignment with all mirrors in the new 150W machine but I am getting a slight charring parallel to the cut line on the right side of a circle being cut. As an example, it basically looks like the cut line gets thicker on one side of my circle when cutting. Engraving or scoring a line on a project looks really nice all along the pathway so I am puzzled by this. My 100 watt machine does not do this and cuts/engraves very nicely regardless of the pathway or location. Any thoughts? Again, thanks for your insight and videos.

Silly question but why do we want the lens glued in?

I have an Aeon 90W laser. I'm assuming the lenses are compatible to most CO2 lasers? I would love to be able to cut 1/2" although I have not tried cutting 1/2" with my 2" lens.

Hi Avery, this is Cam. Just watched the whole thing. The information is great. I love that you hit on the proper alignment techniques i.e. making adjustments in the far position and using the near position as a reference point. I also love that you reaffirmed that hitting center was not important until your mirrors are aligned. You said this several times to avoid confusion. My criticism comes with the overall execution of the video. If you had showed how to make adjustments on the knobs, had some close ups to the pulses, showed an actual alignment, and hit on the 3rd mirror, then I’d be pinning this in the group. Maybe you generalized that part because it’s been showed in so many other videos. Regardless, I found this to be very informative and appreciate the time you took to put this together.

Great explanation! I was definitely wasting a ton of then by trying to align to the center when the mirrors were close to each other.
