+Joseba Diaz Exposito The point of Lindy was that it was a dance that brought everyone together. At the Savoy Ballroom, it didn't matter what color your skin was, what mattered is if you could dance. Whitey's Lindy Hoppers had white dancers, including an interracial couple. And there are other swing dances that were created in predominately white communities (take Balboa for example).
