Well, maybe even 1 hour a day spent like this can count

I have bought many books and not read them. When I moved to where I live now I sold much of them and others I just gave them away. Now I bought a few books again but have not read them. I just feel scared about the thought of reading and maybe, feel like overwhelmed. Also, maybe it’s because think I find it boring. Not entirely sure.
@olgawithfreckles6 күн бұрын
Maybe you should just start slowly, one page at a time. And navigate your way through it
@LuisTorres-mk2hz6 күн бұрын
@@olgawithfreckles yeah, that’s a great way to face my dilemma. Just one book, just one page. It’s so easy and obvious but our brains sometimes plays tricks on us. Thanks 😊

Dear Olga, You should find yourself a doctor who can do a "Micronutrient Analysis" with you. Normally doctors are just looking for symptoms in order to sell you pills against the symptoms. But that doesn't necessarily mean that the problem behind the symptoms is solved. With a "Micronutrient Analysis" you get to know, what nutrients your body really needs to avoid the symptoms in advance. No need to say that this is a much healthier way …

Honestly, posting those three pens on day three was so helpful. I think declutterring has to be this grandiose task, but it’s about the progress and consistency. Not doing it all at once.
@olgawithfrecklesАй бұрын
Yeah, totally agree! Otherwise 1. It gets too overwhelming 2. You don't have time to process the fact how you got this clutter in the first place.

@bellachadwitch2108Ай бұрын
Love this video! Since last time I asked for a specific video and you made exactly what I was looking for, I'll just try again😂: Do you have experience or tips on how to start a deep clean/declutter? I have one big area that became totaly cluttered over the last two years - and since it's the space underneath our bunk bed, it's kind of closed off, so it's very easy to get used to work and live around it without feeling the need to clean it. It's blocking the space in front of our closet (also underneath the bunk bed), which means this giant pile is also keeping me from getting the laundry done, cause I can't put the clothes away. And still I can't get myself to start cleaning up the mess.
@olgawithfrecklesАй бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for watching the videos and thanks for your comment! I would maybe just dedicate some time on a particular day to do the cleaning. Turn on some music or maybe audiobook, get a nice ice drink or tea and just begin. Step by step, cleaning first the things that you can reach and either throwing them away or placing them right where they should be. What do you think?

The number one reason everyone scrolls is because social media companies have spent hundreds of billions of dollars to create an addictive substance, which manipulates us into behaving the way they want us to. It’s like having crack cocaine in your pocket every day.

💯 paper notebooks for life!!! Also, recently I read that when you write on paper more parts of your brain light up than when you type digitally. I’ve always remembered things better and been more creative when I write on paper, and reading that research really helped me understand the science of why that is the case. Thank you for your videos 💖

Great deal! And great approach, I like it :) I myself still can't get used to meditation, I usually think so much during it that I feel like I'm wasting my time :(
@bellachadwitch21082 ай бұрын
@@olgawithfreckles ohno :[[ I used to struggle a lot, too - but at some point I guess I just accepted it that this is my current way of meditating: in 10 minutes of intended focus I get maybe half a minute. I also play around with counting my breaths - sometimes it helps to see that I CAN actually do 10 breaths in a row without losing my focus, and sometimes it distracts me more than it helps. I also find that I generally have a harder time focusing late in the day, as my mind just wants to sleep then :] I don't think sitting down to meditate could ever be wasted time. Even if you think a lot, you still have this moment of eyes closed and no outside influence. And chances are that at some point you will get there :]
