100% agree that failing goals is a good learning experience, especially when you get a bit too enthusiastic about them at the beginning of the month and forgetting that life happens :D Knowing when to put things on hold or stop them is probably more valuable as a skill than a never-ending to-do list ! ex putting a book series (Rivers of London) in my February monthly goals allowed me to discover a great author, but trying to force myself to finish it before the end of the month made it less enjoyable, switching to another series got me back into the mood for books ... same with trying to exercise daily while sick, almost made me drop the whole thing when in hindsight I would have probably exercised more overall if I had taken a proper break than half-assing it the whole month.

Yeah, accomplishing the goal shouldn't be the end game, it's the process that we need to enjoy, right?

I think it does, especially fiction. Try to find genre that you really enjoy, for example I liked reading books about pirates at some point and I've read a lot of them :)

Do you have any other ways to relax?

I've got a book from my local library on Saturday called "how to calm your mind " and what I've read upto now is pretty good and quite interesting. I'll have a look at some fiction books next time I'm in their. I try to do some cycling when the weather is warmer. I'll try to do more than normal when summer comes. Thanks so much for your reply 😊

Sorry, somehow I thought this is a comment to another video. This journal is a Hobonichi Techo Cousin. I really love it.
