I miss the old photoshop vector drawing. Could edit the lines like Illustrator to be as precise as you needed to be.

Kyle, this was an amazing tutorial. Such cool features and you are super talented. I hope I can master digital illustration one day, as I am artist who is more comfortable with drawing on paper. I have tried Illustrator, it is good for vectors but very difficult for colouring; also it does not provide an organic painting like experience.

Good move. It's a horrible company. I find I can use your brushes in Affinity Photo, BTW.

This was a totally understandable choice. Funny enough, Adobe has lost my good will entirely about last year when I tried unsubscribing and was met with a bill for doing so I couldn't afford. The Adobe and what they stand for now is a completely different Adobe from when you first joined. Although I have to say, they have shown signs of going down this path even then.. Lucky for you, your supporters were always YOUR supporters, not the supporters of whatever company you've been affiliated with. Keep making cool stuff. Now there are so many other capable illustration tools with arguably even more open and powerful brush engines. Maybe that's just me, but I certainly wouldn't mind buying a new set of brush packs aimed at Clip Studio or Affinity if you're still at all passionate about it! :P But just go wherever your heart takes you! Looking forward to your new stuff!

Hi there! Can you please tell me how do you change so fast the size of the brush? 🙂
@kyletwebster3 ай бұрын
Hello, you can use the bracket keys on your keyboard to change the brush size quickly. Left bracket ( [ ) will make the brush smaller and the right bracket ( ] ) will make the brush bigger.

Is there a way to turn the “Dry Media” brushes in Pixel brushes into vector brushes? Or make a vector brushes that has a “texture” of a crayon?
@kyletwebster4 ай бұрын
There isn't really a way to do that at the moment, but I sure wish there was! Great idea. Hopefully one day, we will be able to support custom vector brushes from Adobe Illustrator ...

They need to have a feature like procreate that’s like one setting BEYOND the current 100%, where you can say you want perfect curves, perfect circles, etc and you draw a bad circle and hold the pen (or mouse pointer) there and it draws a perfect circle. You could even have a little menu pop up at this point and can select perfect line, perfect circle, etc, it yet then adjusts it after you tap it. Also there could be an option to customize the line and then it gives you options more like a vector where after drawing your you can now add anchor points and then drag then etc to have the exact perfect line to what you want, and each anchor point could have a little menu where could shift-click on it or something and then select “curve” or “straight line etc. so your line could be drawn badly, and then use the tool to move it more generally in the right place, but the. anchor points on a few parts where you can then adjust it like a vector, but where one anchor could be set to curve and another anchor to be line so one can easily draw a straight line and then a curve in one motion to get the information down then in a few clicks end up with the perfect lines or curves or a mix that you need. Isn’t this obvious? Also it should really be a lot easier to convert a pen like to a vector and a vector to a line.

Hi Kyle, my library is not showing up in the shapes tool. I updated my apps, rebooted my iPad. I’m at a loss. I used adobe capture as instructed. My cloud is synced. I bought the full version of fresco. I want to create vector shapes from my sketches .
