Every single one of these villas and chateau in France and Italy which you show has been destroyed by tasteless, modern interior renovation. If I want to live in a 21st Century built condo then I shall buy one in a modern American city. The whole idea is to get away from modern gadgets, plastic, idiotic digital ovens etc. Where can I find an older, well-kept property which is not transformed into a space-age prison or cage?

It's lovely, but two things for me personally. 1) is it possible to find new construction that close to the place with only one level? 2) is it my perspective or do you feel like you are sitting in the kitchen and where would you place the tv? Lots of room otherwise.
