I guess each and everyone of us here have our own story of how we came to be in touch with the FF series. FFIX holds a very dear and special place in my heart, since I met my very best friends cuz of it.. we used to go to each other's house and spend the whole day looking for chocographs, "Hey how'd you find this one?; Man I really need some help with this one". Those are beautifil memories we hold most dear and listening to this arrange brings it back all over again. So, thank you for this. I'm writing this comment with tears in my eyes btw.

1988 born here. Seems to be a common theme with our generation and coming back to this. I see comments about having kids and stuff - if you haven’t, pick up the X/X-2 remaster. It’s available pretty much everywhere and they did a really good job with it. Seeing my daughter play through X on the Switch and fall in love with everything was absolutely surreal. When she (and I’ll keep the spoilers down) found out Jecht’s real place in the future, I can’t describe how cool it was to watch her little mind melt at the reveal. Edit: Remaster, not remake.

The Melancholy within, yet the underlying Hope to find her love, yet only to realize he has forgotten her... Yes. Her quote "To be Forgotten is Worse than Death" hits hard. She tried to protect her people and when the beautiful music, Eternal Harvest, began and the sense of dread with Cleyra's Sandstorm fails and falls... Freya's Theme just hits the heartstrings as you continue to play and see just how much pain she goes through... and yet - she perseveres and moves ever forward. She's not alone and there are people that she still needs to protect. She remembers and moves onward to the future. Gods, I LOVE this music... FFIX is so nostalgic to me. I'm extremely happy to have stumbled upon your Extended 'You're Not Alone' to Freya's Theme. Freya is my favorite Comrade, alongside Vivi. Thank you for this and for all the credits! Stunning job. ❤❤❤

I cant remember the details of my childhood well, but I can recall how this song made me feel then. More importantly I come back to this game every five years or so and each time I love it again but a little different, with new life experiences different characters speak to me more or I notice new things. In the end the me from twenty, fifteen, ten or even five years ago may not share everything with me today but they passed each other and me the tourch of this feeling and memories of this wonderful adventure. Thank you for making this.

This re-orchestration is quite good, but the transfer from the first bars to the main part's rhythm is IMHO a bit messy, not smooth enough. I like the increased volume of the drums to some extent, though. It is a nice nod to this epic tactics game. 😊

I never owned this game till recently due to my parents getting me every Nintendo console as I grew up But I still have fond childhood memories of my older cousin playing it when I'd visit him. He showed me blitzball and I thought it was so darn cool

I could imagine it fitting a bunch of different scenes: Reading a bedtime story to a friend/family member/partner Falling asleep under a tree in the park Having a walk through the forest Saying goodbye to a friend/loved one who is leaving for a while Running towards said friend/loved one and glomping them when they come home When you manage to triumph over a very difficult task Visiting the grave of someone you loved to drop a flower Playing with your pet(s) Swimming at a lake Going on a date Laying in the grass at night, looking up at the stars Looking for a comet through a telescope Teaching your dog how to fetch It's bittersweet, and that makes it a versatile song when it comes to what sort of mood it fits.

Dude, this is how it supposed to sound truly epic and majestic. You know back in the days Nobuo had to work with midis, I think that’s where the limitation come from. But you did it justice big time. Thank you ❤

This is beautifully done. Blue Fields is my favourite worldmap theme in the whole franchise

Final Fantasy VIII is so great in the legendary form that Tyrannosaurus Rex is so frightening and has so much to do with the right to see that it keeps characteristics moving and seeing that people are not ridden with certain powers of grief and see the land not seen in special ways and see that people are riding trains everywhere to see a loon.

I remember grinding sea monsters for hours just to make it through the marsh cave. This music reminds me of being a kid with nothing but time.

I was about 13 and I can home after school on my birthday and I seen this huge box in my room. Opened it up and there was a ps2 with 3 games. Metal gear solid 2, Gran Turismo 3 and Final fantasy X. The brand new ps2 had a very distinct sweet electronic smell to it and every single time I hear this song I'm brought back to that moment its probably one of my strongest nostalgia memories.
