Yeah, if they ever remake this game (pleasepleasepleaseplease) then they could probably do more to make the time element stronger, and I think you're right. It would make it much more emotionally intense!

this song made me buy the soundtrack to this game. i was blown away by this scene in the game with everything all happening at once. was 13 years old, this game holds a palace in my heart. ill never forget it. edea has always been my favorate ff charater

Liked and subscribed! Man, I really hope we get an FF8 remake one day, there's so much they could do with it. Imagine there's a leaderboard for killing monsters in the training center and it's an ongoing battle between Squall and Seifer throughout the game to see who can kill more. Occasionally you'd see Seifer training and even help him fight some of the tougher monsters. Even when Seifer joins Galbadia, because they'd have their own training center and they're (the leaderboards) linked together they can still have that rivalry with each other. At the beginning you would have to actually go find Shiva and Quezacotl in the ice mountains behind Balamb garden and in the wind fields respectively. I'd do away with the draw system and just make magic purchasable instead, but still keep the junctioning system as well as the GF abilities (aka magic refinement). There could be a T board (the hover board Zell has) skate park. Maybe even a tournament he could join and win. There could be fishing mini games throughout the world. Plus triple triad could not only be brought back, but expanded too. You could even choose to actually help Selphie plan and build the Garden festival. Hotdogs will still be sold out. Those things are ever elusive even after 25 years since the OG came out! 😂 You could gamble in Deling city, ride dune buggys in the desert, surf off the coasts of FH and Dollet. Actually take part in the resistance in Timber. That's just a few things off the top of my head, and I'm an idiot! Man, I hope we get it someday... oh yeah, I loved your rendition of Compression of Time by the way lol. Good work and keep going! ❤

Haha wow! I LOVED this comment! You brought back a bunch of memories (haven't replayed this game in far too long!) and had some amazing ideas for what they could put in the remake. I honestly hear a lot of ideas that I'm like "meh..." about, but my favorite is the idea of going to get Shiva and Quezacotl on the map at the beginning. That would be so much better than getting them out of the computer lol Triple Triad needs a return to the spotlight, and yeah, a T-board mini game? Yep. Apparently, you're NOT an idiot.
