Hello When collecting your RAP, did they check for photo ID? Also, you mentioned you received the physical card in the post? I didn't get the option for that. Do they give the physical RAP card there?
@AdventureswithAutism4 ай бұрын
They check the physical RAP card that has the photo on it. Once you have the card ordered, they can print it at any of the parks at Guest services.

This is an amazingly useful review! Nice to see a few more details about the car than most car reviewers show, being able to restrict the vehicle to load for example. We have a Sorento currently and two autistic daughters, plus a dog, and am mulling over changing to the EV9 when our current lease expires in a year. So this had really helped, thank you.

@@AdventureswithAutism yeah that was immediately obvious as I went back to watch your Sorento review. I've had an hours test drive in the EV9 so I'm quite keen although will probably stick with the Air model. Anyway, will watch some more of your content from an ASD perspective. Nice clear practical review without any silly nonsense. It looks like a nice big family car for those who have access to reliable charging and can afford to finance £65k for the base model and not much less than £80k for the top spec with options. What's the insurance like if you don't mind saying so? It'll be interesting to see what effect depreciation has in the next year or two as to whether it'll then be a more realistic option for average families.

Insurance isn’t great I’ll be honest, but we have it for business use as well for the wife’s work. We love the car and it works well for us.

Hmmm so “can’t queue” but queued got 2 hours for curse at Alton manor. And the huge queue behind as well. Just shows how broken the access system is.
@AdventureswithAutism Жыл бұрын
What exactly are you implying? What you didn't see is the multiple times they left the queue to have a breather, or go to the toilet or just to have some space. Or the time when my eldest went and sat in the space of the entrance with a phone. It's not all about the length of time waiting, but the way you can wait. Normal queue lines to not allow for space to move, or space for one of them to step out of line for a short while. Instead they are full of judgemental people like yourself who have no idea what it is like for children with additional needs. I suggest you keep your snide comments to yourself and carry on your day regardless.

Hey I have a question about booking for Thorpe park I have a ride access ID (it is in date) is this what I need to get the RAP on the day or do I need to apply for something different beforehand Thanks
@AdventureswithAutism Жыл бұрын
As long as your Merlin Ride Access card is in date that is all you need. Just take the card to guest services and they will give you the paper counterpart.
@Thatclimbingirl Жыл бұрын
You can go to guest services on the day with Thorpe park and take medical information to get a temporary one that lasts 7 days but you can only do it once and you must apply for a full one for the next visit.

You can do this with all of the parks, however I wouldn’t recommend this if you can help it. If they refuse it you are a bit stuffed
