this looks really neat, but is this just basically a mobile projector on my face? i hate to be blunt because i think this is really cool but is this all that it does? or are there other features like being able to use my phone from the AR?

there's one thing that doesn't work for me: after i build and install my app (i try both with my custom scene and with HelloMR) in my phone, when i open it i don't see anything, neither in the glasses, and only a black screen with white dots and the word "xreal" written with 2 buttons that do nothing but i'm sure my app is running because i can listen from the glasses the audio i put in the app, how can i see what i programmed from Unity in the glasses?

Seems a lot of criticism on compatibility issues with Windows devices. Is this still an issue. I am looking at these as a possible monitor alternative. Anyone else that has this. How would you compare this to say a Samsung Odyssey monitor cost versus function.

Is it required to set up a TV-Sporten account? The card enclosed that came with the One has a QR code for the tutorial. It requires me to sign up for a two-day free trial. First, I was supposed to click on a verification link in the email. It didn't exist, and yes, I checked SPAM. The site wouldn't accept any of my credit cards, which all had plenty of credit available. Their "support" said they don't handle account issues and had no record of my credit cards. Is there something I do not understand about setting up the glasses?

I think a good feature would be for the screen to automatically shrink to fit in the frame of the glasses when they're tilted from side to side so that the corners aren't cut off.

Wonder if these would be good for a workout tbh, going to def need a strap for the arms to hold it to my head lol, chin strap if it moves up off my face too whilst running or push ups/jump ropes etc. So many accessories but nothing to replace a string and some tape yet... lol (just wanna watch instructional videos without having to stop to adjust my positioning or hurting my neck tryna follow a video).
