What do i do if the air pump relay in my ford focus 2006 is not there. I mean the bottom right corner of the junction box is empty?

Do you think my camshaft is bad on my truck. My truck has like random misfires, it runs rough at times but once I step on the gas past 3k rpms it works better. Mind you my truck is cammed. I really think this is the problem because if my coils or cables would be bad it would run bad all the time and this is intermittent

How did you remove head light? Is there another bolt under the fender holding the head light in place?

How do you run the jumper to make sure it works? I replaced mine and the light is still on.

Amanda Arp Did you reset the computer, using a scan tool? And you jump the two slots where the relay was.

No I didn't use a scan tool to reset it. I unplugged the battery.

But the light came back on after a day.

Amanda Arp The code came on for the same reason? Did you replace the air pump?

Yes I replaced the air pump. I was told I might need to drive it for a while or have it reset using a scan tool. Unless of course I did something wrong. Also possible.

I had the same codes.. took my 06"Focus to a mechanic and he just replaced the fuse. It was clearly burnt out. He didn't check anything else. I'm still not sure if a $2 fuse was the reason for the car to act up.

It's very possible. But a fuse is designed to protect wiring and devices from overloading, fuses usually don't just wear out. so if I had the same issue, concerning the smog pump, it is possible u have either some bad wiring or a failing smog pump.

Why jumping the wire at the end of the video would cause engine to stumble? I have the same set of trouble codes and plan to fix it myself.

because it is injecting more exhaust gasses, the EGR function. so the vehicle will stumble or die.
