Thank you for explaining how soap actually works. Its the water that forms the lather that cleans. I even had to explain that to my kids lol

So many people miss the concept that the water is what creates the lather lol. Some grown people need to retake science class 😂

Do you groom many purebred poodles? Curious also how often dogs come in that owners want breed standard haircuts?

White folks don't wash and clean like we do. I see other groomers not being finny but they are YT and they don't wash the dogs good enough.. We are clean ppl and don't play bout no baths😂😂😂

B, Rocky turned out so cute! He's a spicy little dude. My hope is his pet parents start bringing him back on a regular basis so he can become accustomed to grooming without the fight and fuss. Keep up the good work. Your videos help me to become a more confident home groomer. I got to use clippers around the corner of Shih Tzu eyes and bridge of the nose today for the first time. Lots of little baby steps here, but we are walking in the right direction. Thanks for all you do.

Our 14 year old cocker spaniel who looked exactly like Charlotte 'died yesterday. She was incredibly cute, sweet and loving. The ears were a nightmare because of ear infections. And ... Frank Sinatra 's I did it my way was her theme song. Had never seen such a video of a cocker spaniel. Thanks. ❤😢

you need to use a shorter blade for the matting, it pulls at their skin. and it hurts. I have a cat right now, but I grew up with a dog and I maintained her myself. and I watched a lot of videos to know what's best to do for what situation. and the reason why this dog hates you is because you are traumatizing it by forcing a number 4 through a matted area that should be cut with a 9 or 10 blade depending on how far down the mat goes. that is coupled with the lack of maintenance obviously because the owners probably couldn't afford it. or were never told that they need to brush their pets occasionally. If its brush-able, brushing should be done before the bath. yes the hammock can help but if the dog has been traumatized before they remember it. you need to assess the situation before you just dive right in, it will be better for you and the dog or cat that you are working on. I may not be a professional and I get that, but as someone who has practiced grooming on their own animals I have learned a lot by experience and gaining knowledge through videos. and yes I am aware of the fact that 9 and 10 blades are more surgical, so they cut close to the skin. but that is how far some mats go and if your actually being careful you won't knick any animal.
