He’s so stinking cute. I knew you were gonna put him in the hammock. He would’ve dropped and rolled right off the table if you let him. He’s learning though. He’s shown growth from his first video. He’s good for a puppy of such a stubborn breed. Gus is a sweetheart and loves you, when you’re not messing with his legs and feet 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes he’s definitely learning. The hammock was definitely needed 🤣. Gotta keep the little guy safe! I love him! He is always so happy to see me. His mom cracks up EVERY TIME he comes in because he is fighting to get out her arms as soon as I say his name 🤣🤣

Firstly, THANK YOU for not letting Gus lick you on the mouth.. That’s sooooo gross, and I hate that people have been normalizing that over the past decade 😖 Secondly, is it me, or did Gus look to be in pretty good condition coming in this time?? Just out of curiosity, did his owner(s) still request a maintenance cut even though he looked pretty solid at the point of entry, or did I miss something? I wonder if it’s a geographical thing? Back home in VA Beach we keep our dogs fairly natural as long as the dog’s coat is maintained. That means both poodles and doodles will usually just get a bath, maybe a slight trim, and then clean face + clean feet. So idk, but I’m curious to hear your experience(s). I’ve been living in TN for going on 8 years now, and I don’t have a dog, so I can’t provide any prospective here. I guess I feel the same toward Gus as I do with Milly, although her coat is literally never maintained.. It would be interesting to see Gus washed, blown out and maintained like that for a few rounds. He’d be a fluffy little cloud ☁️💕

🤣🤣 I REFUSE to let dogs lick me in the mouth. It’s gross. I can’t do it, I don’t see how people do it in general. I mean they eat poo for crying out loud 😩. And tbh I’m really iffy on the face. I honestly would LOVE Gus in a drop coat bi think he would look sooo adorable but they prefer him shorter because he wrestles outside with their GSD 🤣. That’s probably where he gets his big dog energy lol. He’s a messy boy. So between this vid and the last, he had a few grooms in between so his coat fluctuates with tangles and not tangles but they do a decent job at him not being severely matted.
