Hi, I planning to do the same model. Do you have a video or a plan of your "paint boot"? I am specially interested in the lighting

I’m a little confused lol, so in a road car unless it’s a rally car or f1 car the seat belts are not actually attached to the seats but the a pillar of the car? They only n me ale contact with the seat when someone sits in the seat and plugs in the belts? Just an observation as I’m currently building this myself but hey maybe I’m wrong lol

Hello, I have just watched all 6 episodes of your VW model assembly manual and I am impressed with your accuracy and patience I bought this model and I want to put it together to have a smaller miniature of a large VW Kafer mogo from 1964 Congratulations and greetings from Poland.😎

I don't know man, you could be truly a wizard with scale models, but you clearly suck at choosing music to go as a background accompaniment. LOL First of all, there should never be any singing, especially in the same language. You are talking during your videos and the guy singing is getting in the way. Maybe you are doing a favor and promoting this guy (who I'm afraid should think of a different career, his singing is horrible), but you are doing your videos disfavor. LOL I was so looking forward to watching all Beetle videos step by step to get an idea what it is all about and how it is done.... I'll try muting the video and turning the captions on.

Sorry for the delay! I use Tamiya Airbursh cleaner. It can be hard to find, but I usually get it from Amazon or Ebay and just buy 12 bottles at a time. I also use it for cleaning my brushes.

I stumbled upon your channel here, I'm quite enjoying the bit of a slower pace, not going through too quick and addressing things you notice in the molding is very helpful, it's different than some other channels I've seen. You're doing a great job, I hope you keep up with this.

You should get a pair of Jewllers pliers. They have smooth jaws, no crimp marks. You can get them in flat, and half round. Very useful.

I couldn't see where you painted the trim on the clear window parts. Did you painted by hand or did you mask it off and airbrush it?

Question: I'm building this at, and want to make a cafe racer out of it. I'd like to scratch build a tail piece rather than use the one included. Do you have any ideas on how go about that? At first I thought make it out of putty, but I doubt that'd work, then I thought sculpty, but not sure if that will glue.
@JDScaleModels4 жыл бұрын
I would make it out of styrene pieces. Evergreen makes a huge selection of different pieces
