Super, Devon! Piste #8, si tu as l’album…
@devonleger74697 күн бұрын
Ah malheureusement j'ai pas l'album d'Aimé Gagnon. Je me demandes si c'est toujours disponible! Trente sous Zero me manque hah!

A good version of Swallowtail reel. Not acadian though.
@devonleger746929 күн бұрын
Ohhhh yeah you're right it's related to Swallowtail Reel! I forgot about that tune. This version's Acadian from Prince Edward Island (Sid Baglole and multiple other Acadian fiddlers). It's Acadian by the players and the bowings from there. Good tip on Swallowtail Reel thanks! Folks kept saying Pigeon on the Gate and I didn't think it was that.

Lovely tune - and well-played. Is there any space for double stops or drone string? PS If you haven't already you might try a set of Thomastik medium mandolin strings. I know they're expensive but they really have a mellow sound that to my ears brings out a depth of tone in those vintage oval hole Gibson A and F models that the phosphor bronze et al kinds of strings do. PS the Thomastik last longer than other kinds of strings.
@devonleger746929 күн бұрын
