I’ve been mesmerized the last few days watching these videos. I know nothing about the organ, but now have a deep appreciation of the complexity involved in how one plays these complex pieces. All the valves, keys, knobs and buttons. Just wow!

A masterpiece of film scoring, played by an absolute master of his craft. Interstellar is an incredible film, and the soundtrack is beyond compare. An organ breathes every note, nothing could even come close to it, the perfect choice for such an atmosheric work. Thank you for bringing it to life Mr. Sayer, it will never grow old ❤

Finally! That’s how it should sound! Thank you. Beautifully played and paced. Technically and musically spot on . The 2 sound engineers also did a first class job with the audio recording. And it looks great too. The arrival of the Queen of Sheba, at this tempo, for pipe organ has been an absolute fav since childhood. Delighted to have found this.

This is the IMAX 70mm version of the Interstellar soundtrack if you compare this to the OST. It sounds and means so much more.
As a pipe organ aficionado, it was rewarding to see this soundtrack happen.

I remember hearing Sir George Thalben-Ball play this as a closing voluntary. Great to hear it again from the Temple Church played magnificently by Roger. He plays it effortlessly and it's so difficult (at least I think so!). Is it a great piece of music, though? I'm afraid I don't think it is.

I really feel this is Bach's supreme work. It is so wonderful that Dr Croft and JSB had "a good idea" for a tune! Years ago I went into Salisbury Cathedral to arrange the funeral of a distant relative. The organist was playing this softly. I claim no real musical skills but it still fascinates me how the theme twists and turns. The ending gets very dark and then suddenly rushes up to the light in the pedal.
