Thank u good sir, I'm doing fuel line patch because filter seized (because I also live in Rustville, USA) lines are beyond rusted could not find anything on how to create some play with the line to get a pipe cutter on it, broke 1st clip bolt and need to be just above that to get to anything that resembles a fuel line, ur video gave me hope of walking it away to cut, appreciate it

I really think it's a waste for modern cars and modern oils to be changed every 3k miles...i had a 2013 Sonata 2.0t tuned to make about 100 extra HP which I did not drive gently make it to over 120k miles with oil change intervals 7500-10k miles...didn't burn a lick of oil between changes...and there's been scientific testing with places like Black Stone Labs to confirm that 7500-10k oil change intervals do absolutely zero harm to well taken care of engines.

@robotbro71875 күн бұрын
you can do at 8k miles if you don't have many short commutes, and most importantly get your oil tested and everything comes back good. Thats really the only way to know how often you should change it.

So what is the problem with the steering cutting out? The motor/module or the rack? I would think the motor/module considering that the motor/module is what drives the mechanical rack????

Good video. I am actually searching for someone who may have tried and reviewed removing glow plugs from an aluminum head diesel. I have heard of people claiming it works like a charm. But, as is somewhat shown in your video and as others have shared, heat makes things expand. So, by the laws of thermal expansion heating a glow plug will just make it tighter. However, the head is aluminum and the rate of thermal expansion of aluminum is three times that of steel so in my head (the one with the grey matter in it that is typing all this crap) I am thinking that maybe locally heating the glow plug will transfer enough heat to the hole in the head that it is sitting in and hence make that work because the aluminum head is expanding more than the steel bolt? Guess what that would require as proof is for someone like yourself that owns the tool to make a video using that induction heater trying to remove a rusty steel bolt from anything aluminum. You happen to have any friends with a crusty old boat or something that might fit that criteria?
@eCitizen18 күн бұрын
Why would you put the vise grips right on the hot part of the bolt which instantly quenches the bolt? Put the vice grip on away from the heated part and keep your heat!

Instead of just making it up as you go along, send your oil to a lab for analysis. Then you can see if your over-extending your oil drain interval. I have oil analysis data on several 4 cylinder and V8 engines on the vehicles I personally take care of. One of them gets about 8k miles because it is hard on the oil. Others get 10k to 15k miles and the oil is ready to be changed without showing abnormal engine wear signs. My vehicles have 140k to 165k miles. My oldest vehicle is 18 years old and runs like a bat out of hell. Data is king. Made up rules about 5k vs 10k vs 15k is meaningless unless you have the oil analysis to back it up. Figuring out what your vehicle needs and doing that is best. Getting oil analysis can tell you when something is going wrong and save you money with early detection. It really is a no-brainer.

@andersonsgarage2334 literally anyone can get their oil analyzed and read the info for themselves. Get your Oil analyzed at 5k miles and see if there is any life left in the oil. Personally I would use Mobil 1 or Amsoil, but then again I've seen the oil analysis on my own vehicles to back it up. The simple fact is different engines have different oil change needs. Easily proven by 2 PDF files. Why should I spend the days it would take me to record, edit, and upload when all you have to do is either get your own oil analysis done, or go lookup any number of other results? Besides, I've got a face for radio and a voice that make the deaf grateful for their blessings. I'm tempted to add a link to a forum where the evidence is massive and varied if you really care for more than ANY single guy's opinion, but only if you care to go learn about oil where I learned about it before maintaining about a dozen vehicles for the last 23 years. A quick lube place ruined my oil pan. I learned way back then that if I can replace my own oil pan I can do my own oil change. From there I decided my time and my vehicles are valuable. I wanted to use the best oil I could find, but I wanted to see the data for which oils protect best. BobIsTheOilGuy is a website where a lot of other people paid for testing and shared data. Haven't had an issue with what I learned there in 23 years. You can either go have a look or not. Being able to make a video doesn't make anyone special or even make them correct. Try arguing with the data. You'll find that your vehicle needs an oil change at the interval specified by the oil analysis to back it up.

Meguiars Cleaner Wax is one of the best values in waxes to this day. I've been using that wax since I first started detailing over 45 years ago. My system was to wash the vehicle, use Meguiars cleaner wax as the "cleansing" stage, then followed with Meguiars Deep Crystal wax on top of it. The paint looked like glass. The cleaner wax is better because it has a very light abrasive formula taking away any light oxidation, bug remains, tar, road film, etc. exfoliating the paint so to speak. It does have wax so it's protected, but I usually always followed it with a pure wax or sealant afterwards to get a little longer durability. It's still available today and is a very reasonably priced wax available at all the auto parts stores and it really does a nice job for the average driver looking for an easy way to protect and maintain their paint for the life of their automobile.

Who ever told you more glue, was way off. You want to also use the smaller long tab on that ford fender, if you go to far out on the dent, you're not longer pulling on the dent but pulling on the outer part of the dent. You need to pull the centre of the dent.

I just did a crap ton of work on a 2000 LeSabre that I bought not running for $200. This thing is kicked my ass every way from Sunday. It's been a year and I finally got it running. I had two main issues but I wound up having to do intake manifold gaskets on it anyways. The Mass airflow sensor was faulty and it would not run with it connected. Also the ICM was faulty and it would lose spark on all cylinders after a couple minutes of running. I've changed all six plugs and wires and I'm still fighting a misfire code under acceleration. 😢
@cgwworldministries8319 күн бұрын
Few things to check, top O2 sensor most likely, fuel sending unit, the sensor behind the flywheel and serpentine belt like it'll start good and run for a minute then stall.
@yaboimax635619 күн бұрын
@cgwworldministries83 It is misfiring on number two and five cylinders under acceleration, about anything above 3000 RPM. I ordered a coil for it that should be here today or tomorrow.
@yaboimax635619 күн бұрын
@cgwworldministries83 It would only run for a few minutes due to the bad ICM. It would run for a few minutes and then die and not start again because it lost spark.

There is a guy on here on You Tube who uses a C-clamp to flatten out dents on quarter panels near wheel wells. He created a larger, flat surface on the C-clamp by gluing on or welding on a flat bar of metal, and he inserts the C-clamp into the wheel well (you have to pop the fasteners on the plastic liner in the wheel well) and slowly turns the screw. It really removed the dent in the metal quarter panel pretty well.
