Awesome vid. Incredibly thorough. Still have a few questions: -Why didn't you remove the axle to make getting to the bolts on the driver's side end of the crossover easier? -Which side of the muffler goes up? Does it matter? -It doesn't look like you're reusing the big stock support brackets. Are they omitted? Muffler is floating? -There's enough room to access frontmost studs? Access from in front of engine cradle? Sorry for all the qs! Thank you!!

I do not like the look as much, but as for actually driving? I am sure these are extremely comfortable. And honestly the look isnt that bad at all tbh. Wish it could color match better, but tbh as the interiors of our grey interior cars age they start to turn yellow anyway if not careful

Someone needs to get in the time machine, go back to when you did this and fully pull back their arm, extending it and with all their force make their palm of their hand "caress" your face. Then come back with the back of hand and "caress" the other side of your face. First you cut the wires to the original so short, for NO reason, since you ran the ran the universal antenna wires to the relay. That brings it to the second. instead of just removing the wires from the old and plugging in the new, you did a bunch of nonsense tapping things. Third you should have just fixed the old antenna. This is seriously painful to watch. SMH FP

I'd love for one of you guys to put on a set of fiberglass packed resonated tips like ANSA used for all the old Euro exotics. It should really smooth out the exhaust pulses for a really nice Euro tone....closest mfgd ones are by - HEDMAN HEDDERS DUAL RESONATOR HOT TIPS. # 17104 NOS vintage ANSA's are now outrageously expensive.🏁

Wow, what an honor & experience! I hope they funded you really good into the 6 figures!!!!! LoL. I commented about your door lights vid just now & wanted to see if you had any other lighting vids & found this one. Yet again, my theory on the rear tail lights original sabotaged design flaw I can see is proven again with the oem incandescent bulbs & /or why 99% of LEDs won't also work, but I kind of figured it out scientific educated guess on how to bring these Delorean Tail Lights "Into The Future"!!!!!!! Not sure if I can follow thru.....life really sucks. But if I can, it will certainly rock the Delorean community to be educated of how badly everyone further screwed up their Delorean tail lights......

Please consider my advice: people who do LED upgrades, don't understand photometrics & how a lamp reflector is scientifically matched to a specific bulbs filament geometry with incandescent bulbs. Its a little complicated, but,......here's a tip for you. A lot of the Delorean's lighting design was greatly sabotaged deliberately in design, probably for "Future" recalls for safety to screw over John Delorean. I have proven this with a fatal & deliberate design flaw in the tail light optics, & no way with the factory design would it have passed FMVSS108 lighting standards for safe illumination!!!!! Anyway, that reflector needs a burnished flat aluminum plated or painted reflector to diffuse the light from the bulbs filament. Regular Chrome "style" spray paint works great vs. what OEM's used called Vapor Deposited Aluminum, on the reflectors. Aluminum has the best reflectivity value at about 93% RLV, but pure silver is most reflective at 95% RLV but both are very expensive to have applied professionally. You want a diffuse dulled, but shiny aluminum surface for proper reflection. NOT MIRROR CHROME! Chromium is 60% LRV. Try this.....get some aluminum foil duct tape, & burnish it with 000 steel wool, to dull the mirror reflective finish, & apply it to the reflector. Or, for even a brighter reflector, apply flat ceiling white paint from home improvement store. That paint has a trace mineral that is 98% reflective! After you enhance the reflector, try the factory incandescent bulb, & you might be surprised how bright it is, since the reflector geometry was designed to match the bulb filament geometry! Then compare the LED to the incandescent bulb....... This is how all the lighting reflectors should be restored since the factory aluminized coating microscoply oxidizes & effects reflective output of the lamp reflector. Remember, a reflector gathers, amplifies, & focuses the light at the lens & the lens optics further focuses, magnifies, & distributes the light to calculated areas of viewing of the signaling light. This is why LED bulbs don't really work in an incandescent fixture since the LEDs don't fire backwards in a 360 pattern like a filament bulb does, however there are some that do come close made by well known mfgs like Sylvania Zevo, Philips, Osram, who make some of the best LED engineered retrofit bulbs.... However, be sure the light remains its intensity off angles, NOT just looking at it straight line of site, which in traffic patterns, all other drivers are viewing your cars signal lighting "off-angle" especially with high profile trucks & SUV. To get an idea of a lamps pattern, all the light from the lamp to project on a vertical white wall at 5', 10', 15' ect, % & make note of the beam pattern & shadowing in the pattern on the wall.

The light output of those new Auxito LEDs are really nice and a big improvement over the other LEDs and especially the old incandescent bulbs. I prefer to spend my money with the DeLorean parts vendors and I bought the six LED door lights from DeLorean GO although your LED door lights are possibly better than what I bought. Owner of VIN 02261.

To arrive in style you need to have both gull wing doors open all the way up while very slowly driving through the parking lot. I've gone to a local Exotic Cars two hour long Cars & Coffee gathering and there is not much interest in my 1981 DeLorean. Early on a Saturday morning I started seeing the same guys driving the same cars week after week so I stopped going. Here is a boring factoid. It was nearly all men at the Exotic Cars & Coffee. Ladies don't seem to be interested in waking up early on a Saturday morning to stand around in a parking lot.

Everything is very nice, but those black cables are not beautiful and they do not look aesthetic.🤔
