You could also probably use bamboo skewers instead of the dowel. Nice floats tho, thanks for the help.

Good to see you Ricky, it's been a while. I've been hitting the rocks lately with a float and using salted chicken livers, looks like cunji and the Bream love it when you find where they're hiding

I forced myself to use #4 line for a whole season. It really puts into perspective how much you can do with #6 or #8. It's a lot more than people think. I'm going back up to #6 braid with #6, and #8 mono leader material. It should feel nice and comfy.
