My mate fishes a deep river hole at night using nippers and gets some great whiting.

Good to see you back mate, I don't know about nippers on the surf they never work for me or I catch dart all day, definitely gun bait in the estuary, I had better results using worms but also they are either too expensive or a bain in the butt to catch the buggers😂

Thanks yeah have noticed that my self the beaches that have dart on them you will catch them all day on yabbies witch can be a pain sometimes but that's part of fishing I guess but they do catch a lot of good fish on the beach yeah worms are good too I just find it easier to get yabbies haha 😄 cheers 👍

Thanks for the video. Do you ever need to go bigger than a size 2 star sinker? My Penn Prevail 2 rod is only rated to casting 60g

@Depressedfisherman I only ever use a size 2 star sinker off the beach for bream and whiting cause only use 10lb line and that is plenty of weight for the condition I fish only fish when the swell is 1m to 1.5m on the beach only time its not enough it when there is to much current and its sweeping across the beach then I find it hard to catch fish so I usually give up that day mate 👍
