The HDMI on the Ui16 does nothing! Can we please get a new firmware update for the Ui16? It’s been 6 plus years!! Allow us to control it via our home internet wifi instead of having to switch our device to the wifi on the mixer..

Can we PLEASE get a new firmware update for the UI16????!! The last one was from 6+ years ago!! I bought this brand new recently, your company should be providing support still!! The UI24 has had 3 updates in the last 5 years that addressed known issues that the UI16 still has!! Please!!! Also make scanning wifi networks an option so we don't have to enter IP details so that we can control the UI16 via a browser and wifi network that is our main wifi network that all our devices are connected to.

XM32, M/XR18 and Mixing Station soooooooo much better, easier. Too much configuring with this and the 3 1/2 band EQ on each channel sucks.

Soundcraft is and will ever be the no1 Analog mixer for me! But Digital is just not yours... for a litte more money you can get a A&H SQ5 wich is leagues over this one... and even a Beringer x32 Compact is half your price... Analog i will always use your products but this is insane in my eyes :) Just my Opinion so no hate at all !

Ok, please reply! No more visi remote.. it’s now: VISI-LISTEN. The same rules do not apply to this app. Seems like Harmon is really not concerned with updating anything for us. The app allows IEM mixes but it does not seem to allow fader on the main board access. It’s great if u have an old iPad that runs the visi remote but, if u don’t.. seems like ur screwed. Please help.

I have been using the mixer's router with no problems, now I would like to network the mixer to try to find a hardware controller that will control the mixer. Has anyone found a sound console that will network or operate the UI24 as a stage box? also maybe use the mixer as a Dante device? Thx

Finally!!! After a long battle with my router settings and network settings that tip about NOT connecting the router cable to the ethernet port 2 was gold! Sometimes we are so in a hurry to get things done that we miss something in the chain! Great video/tip! Thanx a lot!!! 👌

I own the UI 12, It's fkn useless without an external router. By the way FCK Soundcraft, so many phantom power issues, no more updates, you just abandoned the product like a bunch of pussies

I stopped using my Ui12 because of the connection issues. It would only stay connected if it was hard wired. It would not stay connected with either the hotspot or an external router. Also, using a browser to run the device is a bad idea. On a small screen, the icons are to small to be operated properly.

I followed the instructions for connecting the external router (TP-Link). I'm able to access the UI16 control board using the IP address assigned but any adjustments I try causes a "Locked" error to flash. I'm not able to control the mixer now. Any suggestions?

6 years have passed and until TODAY we have not had an update for ui16!! what a shame...

One thing that is a constant frustration for me with the Ui16 is a lack of date/time setting. All our recordings naming by timestamp is wrong for Australia. I suspect it's locked to a USA default but there's no way to adjust it anywhere! Could this not possibly be included as something to set by timezone? It has been a long time since the firmware was updated but this seems like a design fail in an otherwise excellent mixer.

Thanks for the presentation. I wanted to note that you might be able to skip having the small format touchscreen (and still keep reliable connectivity via ethernet cable) if you have a tablet. You can get an inexpensive powered ethernet adapter cable for your tablet, which plugs into the power recharger/data port on the bottom of the tablet, and then has connections to your power cable for constant tablet recharging, and also has an ethernet output. You can then hard wire your tablet via this adapter into your external router (or the ethernet input of the Ui) via cat-5 cable. Even if the wifi drops out, you are still hard-wired in to the Ui.

Can the VCA be tied to the channels so when you select that VCA it brings the channels up in the left no matter the layer?
