Great instructions, I actually don't bleed off the 1lb tank, but will now, as to maximize the fill. And you should let people know how long you put the 1lb tank into the freezer. I usually do it over night, but I am sure at least an hour or so would be sufficient.

OK, let me answer your second question first the needle valve. I would basically bottom it out and then back it off six turns that’s a good starting point and will probably be fine. As far as the barbarians are concerned, what I did was identify them as I removed them and replaced them with the same ones. It should be on the video showing exactly which ones go where. I don’t remember off the top of my head right now, but it should be on the video. Thanks for your question consider subscribing. Take care. Joe.

There are 3 sizes of ball bearings in the kit, so when you refer to the "Large" one I can only guess which one it is. Can you help me as the where the middle size one goes? Also, I neglected to watch your video before starting and failed to not the position of the needle valve. Suggestions where to set it or is it reachable when the jack is reassembled?

Can I use just the blue & black wires. I have a LED dome light & it only has a red & black wire. It has a on/off push button switch on it so I don't want to have to use a rocker switch. Would I put a in-line fuse on the positive side?

I noticed Joe did not change the membrane in the carburetor. I've worked on many old Stihls, Echos, Craftsman, etc, and almost always the problem is the membrane. It gets stiff and will not pump like it needs to. I am currently working on an old blower exactly like this one, and discovered that none of the new carbs online match. (Just like Joe experienced). I will now try to rebuild like he did, but I will have to find the membrane because when I took the carb apart, the membrane is stiff. Joe got lucky. He didn't change the membrane, and it must have still been soft enough. (No disrepect, Joe. I came here to see if you found the right carb online. I noticed that acceleration was a little slow. I believe the membrane is beginning to stiffen a little.)

Find I have 9 grease guns for different applications and grease, plus various adaptors for hard to get to zerks!

Also, apparently it’s been determined that a five stage reverse as mimosas is necessary to really deliver. Hi, great video! I have a Kabota B2650 and a rocker switch that turns my snowplow left and right. How do I know if it has enough g.p.m to run the saw? Thanks Patty
@JosephHunstad8 күн бұрын
Wow, you ask a great question. I don’t know the actual gallon per minute required to run the saw but I don’t think it’s that great. I think you probably have enough flow rate to operate the chainsaw before you buy one however I would probably check the gallon per minute requirement at the website. It has worked very well for me. It does leak some hydraulic oil which is a lubricant and that’s a necessary, sacrificial element of the Saw but it’s a small price, consider subscribing. Thanks. Joe.

Hi Dr Joe Like you I have purchased and tried numerous grease couplers. The screw to lock is effective but a little slow! The more expensive (better quality, we hope)lever types are my pick. Thank you for your video. However, regarding 1:13 & 11:33, that 10 millimeter retaining nut is not "Nylon". Instead it is made of steel. This is because nylon is plastic and would be too soft to withstand the rigor of retaining the pivot bolt. You can verify that the nut is made of steel by confirming that a magnet is indeed attracted to the nut. On the other hand, nylon or plastic is not attracted by a magnet.
@JosephHunstad13 күн бұрын
