I’m so glad my dad introduced me to music very young. By the time I was 8 this was my favorite band. Well along with the eagles and Steve miller band. Dam I miss being a kid in the 90s

I wrote this song and it was originally titled Southern Train but after writing it I changed my mind and called it "Interstate Love Song" a special shout out to Mark and Brian and Rita and of course the great STP, hey boys it and the album really caught on...

Not long after stp got big my mom told me that my father and Scott's mom had an affair and Scott was the result, any way it never mattered to me when I was young and dumb but I did reach out to him and he said that he wanted to meet me and on our first conversation on the phone I wondered what he thought of our not so unique situation and he told me that he always knew that I existed and would find him! And that made me feel some kind of way that he was beyond finding me! anyway we never met but he did tell me that he had always loved me And would never stop,and that is what made it so hard to fight back the sorrow and long-suffering when he died...I know to the core of my soul that if it weren't for my ego or his that he would still be here.. with me,his brother from another mother!!!
