It's a complete travesty that Eureka Farm has almost no youtube presence whatsoever. One of my all time favorite bands, 'The View' is a perfect record imo. Only ever heard of them due to a guy who did our sound at a show, that was from Bellingham, who said I would probably like them. Props to you, David Pereira, for helping keep them from complete oblivion.

I enjoy Analog more overall but still a great band. You can snag both albums on Arman's Bandcamp for free (of course you should pay). I grabbed the .flacs and have had this album spinning a _ton_ this month. and definitely sub to Arman if you don't already. He posts cool generative synth stuff really often.

I saw death cab years ago in Kansas city & talked to nick about Eureka farm. He played the opening to this in between songs & pointed at me. Ben gave him a death stare & he stopped. It was the closest I've ever been to seeing eureka farm live. I'm not a huge death can fan but since it had members from analog I went.bit was the something airplane tour.

Jason McGerr's two Eureka Farm performances stand as the most influential for me as a drummer, completely changed my perspective. This is the main reason it saddens me to no end that Death Cab is so terrible, no offence to any who enjoy them. I also feel a bit bad for Arman, like he got left in the dust somewhat. Such a talent, wish there was more Misadventures of Two.

@@ghostrobot3714 count yourself fortunate that you saw them. I am incredibly jealous. I'd give a kidney to see a eureka farm live show.

I got to see eureka farm back in 2000 in Bellingham at the Showoff gallery. They opened for death cab. I’ve been searching for over a decade for any copy of Analog or The View to no avail. At least one track exists here.

If anyone has anything eureka farm related, live shows, demos, etc. please contact me. I have a bunch of eureka farm/arman stuff to trade. Solo live songs, unreleased songs, blue tape demos. No death cab stuff, just arman/EF/Bits/Misadventures, etc.

yo i don't have anything to trade but I'd love to hear some stuff if you have anything to spare (:

@@Asa_Morris give me your email address & ill add you to my drive folder. I'm not trying to brag but I'd say with certainty that outside of Arman I have the most Eureka Farm/Shed/Arman stuff out there. I'm missing one shed demo but have the rest.

@@BirdsOfGlass super impressive! I’ve been spinning Analog a bunch lately. My email is asagmorris@gmail.com and I super appreciate it (: it’ll give a bunch of ideas for my own groups

@@Asa_Morris added. Not sure if you have heard neo. It's basically eureka farm without arman & synder.

@@BirdsOfGlass haven’t heard of Neo, or Shed’a EP yet either. I did just flick through that copy of What’s Up magazine from ‘99. Wow! I was in Bellingham at that time, but I was also… 1.5 years old hahaha. The bit of EF’s article mentioning Skerik was so cool, didn’t know Arman got to play with one of my local musician heroes back in their Critters Buggin heydays!
