Cool idea, if those sounds were remade, death sounds (possibly randomly heard some sort of other death sound rather than the same random sound pitched sounds) if not also the alarmed state, guns reloads etc. Just imagine what a hit it would be if some well known modders would sign up to create a recreation of duke nukem 3d WITH duke nukem time to kill maps.

Old games are more realistic even though the developers had less technology. In fact, the graphics are silhouette styled and color palette is pastoral, which obviously make it more realistic. Now, I call it "art direction".

Way before cheat codes, I discovered a trick: during a demo, press ESC to switch off the menu, save game using F2 or whatever, load it and voilá, you can continue to play that level.

Literally impossible on Hard if you don't have enough hp to endure some shots at some parts. Also ends very abruptly. Fun otherwise, and not too long.

This level is awesome I played it hundreds of times, I love when games devs directly rip off movies even down to the dialogue like no one will notice lol, obviously this is exactly saving private ryan, Call of Duty 1 had a level directly ripped off Enemy at the gates initial attack in Stalingrad, they even have the line the one with the rifle shoots when the one with the rifle gets killed and so on ...and recently Modern warfare had a level directly ripped off from zero dark thirtys complex scene killing Osama , then I think the same game ripped off 13 hours complex assault scene. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
