**WARNING: SPOILERS! DON'T WATCH THE VIDEO IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE ENTIRE GAME!**
This is a collection of all cutscenes from Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (PC), so you can watch one after another, just like a war movie.
All the in-game graphic settings are maxed out, and the colors were slightly modified during the editing process for increased realism.
Developed by Gearbox Software.
Published by Ubisoft.

This fucking line bugs me, the cutscenes in this game are so bad. The original delivery from road to hill 30 was better. Cole seems much more calm and he says something slightly different but the line sounds WAY better “if it moves, shoot it. If it screams in German, shoot it again!”

Ubisoft realy upset Randy because gearbox owns the franchise but Ubisoft got publishing right for all 3 games and including the furious 4 which was never realy released due to how much crap it got regarding it being not the true brothers in arms we all known and loved Ubisoft decided to kill Randy own franchise and that's a big nope on a publisher side gearbox can put there own label on there own franchise I hope they found a developer to help with the next big project

Even if BIA 4 is in development I can't say I'm excited. I want to be, but all these companies care about anymore is multiplayer-obsessed/online-dependent garbage over quality story driven games like BIA. Even if by some miracle we do get the latter, there's no telling whether it'll be tainted by political correctness and "Diversity" Dogma so that you wouldn't even want to play it.

These are some of the best quotes of: Brothers in arms: Hell's highway. Zanovich:"IN HOLLAND, THE HORN STILL MEANS GET OUT OF MY F**KING WAY! Sorry, sir". Jasper:"Do you live in a fantasy world? Is it nice there? I'm carrying a goddamn bazooka!" Paddock:*Proceeds to kick the door* "Ugh! Ah! Son of a bitch!" *Proceeds to shoot the door open and then look defeated when he realizes it was unlocked the entire time* Paddock:*Disarms german sniper and proceeds to wrap his hands around the german's throat* Hey. I'll be sending the rest of your friends your way real soon. *throws the german sniper off the top of the church* Corr, Baker, and Dawson: Corr "Oh shit..." Baker "I know." Corr "We just killed the krauts that came off this elevator." Dawson" Which means they're probably waiting at the top!" Baker "I know." Dawson "Oh, god. We're really stupid." Baker "I KNOW!"

16:40 I just realized that Franky was doing the same thing Corrion does in RtH30 when Pvt Rivas gets shot by a German sniper. In Normandy, Pvt Rivas was killed by a sniper shot through the neck, while Corrion was trying to help him, Hartsock screamed at him to keep moving, and Rivas bled out on the spot as Corrion watched helplessly. In Market Garden, the same thing happens, except this time it's Franky trying to make somebody comfortable while they die, and Corrion who is screaming at him to keep moving. The difference is, Joe is a kind and compassionate man, who saw Sam as his equal... so he didn't stop him from trying to save Rivas, while Corrion saw himself as better than Franky, who was a replacement, so he physically forced Franky off of the priest and screamed at him to follow his orders. The difference in their approach, with Hartsock trying to lead his men to safety, versus Corrion's anger at disobedience, shows us why Hartsock was eventually promoted to Sgt(and then, S.Sgt), while Corrion stayed at Corporal for, presumably the remainder of the war.

I was in the ranger regiment, I had team leaders like both of these characters so it rings true. What you said can be summed up in this: Good leader: follow me!!! Bad leader: charge!!!
@trainknut
@trainknut 4 жыл бұрын
@@h2w25 I wasn't in the military, but I did five years of cadet training, so I have a bit of experience with those types of leaders as well... Nothing worse than a leader who isn't willing to set an example. That's why I intentionally chose not to change myself when I was promoted to an NCO position and rose through the ranks, I remembered what it was like to be a recruit, or a Corporal, and I didn't want to be the Sgt who forgot where he came from... And my cadets respected me for it - I wasn't the best, and I had my faults, but in the end I didn't need to yell or bark orders for them to listen to me, I had enough respect from them that usually just me asking them to do something for me was enough... My counterpart is still in the squadron, while I have retired - she was the complete opposite of me, I was unprofessional and casual with the cadets, but they respected me... she is by the book, with a perfect record on her tests and was even promoted over me, but she let the power get to her head... once she got the WO position she completely forgot what it was like to be a Cpl and mess up... Since I retired, she has been in total control of the squadron, with a few of my junior NCOs taking up the spot I left... unsurprisingly, her attitude of thinking she's better than everyone else(because all of the officers tell her she is) - and her approach of just yelling at everyone and calling them names, has resulted in the unit's near total collapse in standards, and a whole bunch of people dropping out of the program. I may have been unprofessional, I may have talked back to my officers, and I may have royally fucked up on more than one occasion - but my method worked... we always got the job done, and everyone under my command was always happy, much more than I can say for those who have replaced me.

@jonathanoxlade4252

Brothers in arms is more story based than gameplay call of duty should be the other way around and gameplay should come always first because the campaign for call of duty WW2 was so short that I got to the Rhine mission and changed the difficulty to veteran I never played the entire game in veteran but because it was the last level and I played 10 missions on normal difficult so I decided to play the final chapter on veteran and I completed it lol but call of duty needs to be gameplay brothers in arms is more of a true authentic story and its not a game in my mind it's quite disturbing and down right sad and it's more realistic on gameplay it's not OVER the top like call of duty is

56:15 hits me hard. You can tell Corrion really wants that promotion, but, Baker knows what would happen if he did promote him. He couldn't prevent Franky from dying because he couldn't drive it into his thick skull that if he didn't follow orders and sticked with his brothers he was going to die so how was he ever going to be able to lead his other brothers to victory if he can't even save one of his own? This really hits my heart because you can tell Baker feels guilty but his job is to make sure that they're alive in order to complete their objectives and Corrion wasn't really able to control Franky which was Corrions' downfall for the promotion.
@jamalwilburn228
@jamalwilburn228 3 жыл бұрын
Its one of the common issues with promotions. Being a higher rank comes with added benefits which makes it desirable, but should only be given to people who can lead. Being a good soldier and good leader are two different skills. As a soldier you only need to know what you are doing, but as a leader you have to worry about what you are doing and everyone else you are leading is doing. The first time I was an acting LT of a maneuver element I was sorta shocked by how difficult it is to lead all 42 of these people. Its why as an Officer, I want good NCOs who can handle that responsibility to lead their squads so instead of 42 people I have 4-5 squads which makes it much easier to process. Baker cares about his men so is more focused on real leadership than combat ability. By getting Franky killed, it showed Corrion had no ability to lead. Paddock showed leadership by staying calm during a motor attack that took out his entire leadership. He then had independent thinking by ignoring what others said about Red being dead and preformed CPR till he saved Red's life. There is also likely some bias as Baker feeel like he owes Paddock since he saved his best friend's life
@isgcontractor8787
@isgcontractor8787 3 жыл бұрын
@@jamalwilburn228 Actually, looking back at the video it was Corrion who saved Red's life, Paddock was the one in failing to save Friar's life. Although, I completely get what you were saying just making some clarification. Also, Paddock was the one that saved him in the church when the sniper sucker punched Baker and paddock threw him out of the church window, so, I'm guessing he owned him for that reason instead of the previous one. Not trying to insult you or anything just trying to clarify a few things. Also, I highly respect you for taking a leadership role it must've been hard when you lost someone under your command. Assuming you dead loose some men.
@Milner62
@Milner62 2 жыл бұрын
and the way how Corrion lost his shit with Baker for keeping quiet on what actually happened to his buddy being a result of Leggit distracting the group with bickering. There is no reason to lose it like that and Corrion made it well known he doesnt know how to function in a military or leadership position when he stated he would never fight along side of Baker again. It showed he doesnt understand how the military works and that he doesnt get a say in who he does or doesnt fight with.
@isgcontractor8787
@isgcontractor8787 2 жыл бұрын
@@Milner62 The first reasoning of Corrion loosing his shit was justify, for that first reasoning alone Baker or Red shouldn't be NCO's because they were having a debate about the Lt Col dying on the field for what Baker thought was brave and what Red thought was stupid. I can whole heartedly understand why Baker decided to keep the truce from them and that was to protect Leggit. Once Leggit died it wasn't necessary to protect him any more because he's dead, the fact that Baker decided to wait until almost the end of the game to actually disclose this information to his closest friends was something I never understood. Maybe you can tell me why he didn't say it until the end of the game considering that Dawson also knew about the secret and even threatened Baker that he would tell them if Baker didn't say anything.
@Milner62
@Milner62 2 жыл бұрын
@@isgcontractor8787, I dont believe it was justified for Corrion to lose his shit like he did. He has shown he has the inability to lead people and keep them safe and then wants to act like he is better than everyone else when things dont go his way. He feels that because he was friends with Baker that suddenly he should get special treatment and get promoted just on that basis alone. That is how you get soldiers killed when you get a commander that is only a commander cause a friend got them that position and they didnt earn it. As far as why Baker disclosed the incident with Leggit, the only way I can put it is he was black mailed into doing it. If it wasnt for that he wouldnt have disclosed it to the troops. Yes he did it to protect Leggit from being treated horribly or possibly even killed over his actions and yes after his death the reason for protecting him by keeping it quiet was no longer there. But you also have the whole it changes nothing to disclose it or not. Those in Bakers unit didnt know what happened and took it as not knowing what happened that Leggit saw nothing and that was that. The digging and then black mail forced it to be disclosed to the unit which really doesnt make a bit of difference if it was told or kept quiet. Red even mentioned this by telling him to quit digging up the past and opening old wounds but he still kept on. That is why I cant fault baker for keeping it to himself even after Leggits death. Its also why I blame Dawson for this cause Red told him to leave it and he didnt till he opened up wounds and caused a huge rift among Bakers squad all in the middle of a war that was being fought.

This game is so badass, still to this day. As a former team leader in the 2nd ranger regiment and veteran of OEF/OIF alike I can tell you honestly that it could be used in training simulations to prepare young soldiers for performing and understanding basic to complex battle drills as outlined in the Ranger handbook. 2020 February update, still nothing and it hurts. Been playing BiA since I was 11 and this really fucking hurts. That game has the best depiction method of World War 2, realistic yet artistic. I'd buy every game even if they made 10 of them at the same caliber of these 3. Just imagining how good it would be if they would finish Baker's story without slacking off and started working on Eastern Front. With their way of storytelling, BiA series would be historic without any doubt - and I think it is already - . Think about how they would do amazing graphic design, directory, dialogue as an example to other greedy studios. They would perfectly blend everyday lives and epic tales of the Eastern Front soldiers together. Imagining Pavlov's House changing hands ten plus times and the psychology of the characters we would love just as Red and Baker through those fights, facing tiger tanks in waist-deep snow, trying to get warm. German side freezing to death without their winter coats, facing suicidal hordes of T34 and infantry. They really could focus on the psychological, traumatical aspects of war to the soldiers. Many times soldiers are depicted as humans with feelings that cannot hurt and minds that cannot break. BiA really flips the finger to this stupid CoD approach with beautifully authentic storytelling and focusing on soldiers individually, showing how close they are as brothers thus deeply bonding them to you. Truth is probably there will never be any sequels to this truly astounding series. There will never be games with that much endeavour put in, historical accuracy and deep meanings. Because games are designed for appealing as many people as they can, we get gender equal, nazi censoring bullshit WW2 games like BFV and CoD WW2. Smaller and ambitious game studios can make good games but cannot create immersive stories because of their limited budget and lack of support. The revolution in video games are connected to the general revolution of human species nowadays. We are gradually fucking everything up. We need more thoughtful people and yet, what we have is entertainment seeking people. Sadly they are leading the big studios on their game making. People are lost into technology and forgot the value of feelings, stories. They always seek dumb entertainment which acquired by quick stimulations. I heart achingly believe attention span of the people are getting smaller and all those things come together, causing a fuck-up avalanche. Breaking everything humans built until today. Literacy, philosophy and naturalism is lost. Life line is lost and us humans, we don't remember where came from. We don't know what we are anymore.

Such a, GREAT game! I am a huge fan of the 101st. I love Band of Brothers and the story it has, and since I was able to PLAY through with the 101st, it’s ticked off all the boxes. This is a perfectly dark and gritty game that GETS IT RIGHT! While not a combat veteran that has had to deal with loss on such a terrible scale, I have done my own reading. (My own reading should not replace the feelings of actual combat veterans, and while I do plan to serve in the future, I hope I never have to feel what they have felt). In my own reading, I’ve found that this game hits it on the head. If you immerse yourself in this game, and feel what Baker feels, you will find yourself just has heartbroken that Hardstock is paralyzed and the anger of not being able to let go of the lie told for Legget. As far as the lie goes, it’s a terrific story piece that helps illustrate the tolls war has on a person. It centers around Kevin Legget, a weak man, frail and scared man, who was crushed by a secret he was forced to keep by Baker in his best judgement. This is something Baker is aware of, and the guilt has crushed him... until, until he is asked how he can handle snow. It is in this last scene where we see him get over his guilt. The lie built up over the game, shows the same scene a few times, which hammers it into our heads that this lie has taken its toll, yet in the end we see Baker get over it. This is simple story telling, but the detail and writing that goes into the “how” of telling it, is amazing. This game isn’t just a rag doll explosion, bullet time, headshot, squad shooter. It’s a story, of one the most distinguished Divisions in the US Army. They are hero’s, but they didn’t ask to be. This game depicts Fictional characters, but only to try and illustrate the real feelings and horrific experiences from real men, especially within the 101st airborne. It does it quite well. WW2 was a horrific conflict, but the men, the bravery it bred, was something I aspire to one day achieve, however fool hardy. This game is a masterpiece, and is most definitely art, as much as story telling can be. It makes me cry, every time I think about these men. The men that had to endure this great conflict, and showed that they had the metal to overcome this conflict and best it. They walked away with their physical lives, but some part of them died in battle. This endurance through suffering, perseverance through hardship, and dedication through heartache... it embodies strength in one’s self and brotherhood between the men around you. God bless the last game, and if they don’t come out with Brothers In Arms: “Home By Christmas” or something, I’ll get a computer science degree, learn how to code, create another code everyone uses, get a lot of money, buy the rights to Brothers in Arms, and make another damn game myself 😤

While, this is 2 years late, I guess you deserve a straight answer. Baker is suffering from PTSD, and more specifically guilt. Baker imagined the dead men, Garnett, Allan, and lastly Legget, because they haunt his dreams. And now, franky will also haunt his dreams, hence his voice being heard while he’s dead. Back to the original point. Baker feels guilty for lying about what actually happened, Legget’s explanation for how Garnett and Allan actually died. If you’re unclear about the scene in the game, the quick reason, is that Legget was yelling and attracted the German patrol. Baker covered for Legget, saying “he didn’t see anything”. This is the lie that he also forced onto Legget, who Baker describes in his own psyche as weak and frail. Legget is a man who could not handle the fact that he killed her friends by yelling and alerting the Germans. Baker is haunted by the fact that Legget lost his mind over guilt as well because Legget knows he killed his friends. Baker is living with this guilt, and it’s a lot to handle. He has not faced his problem, and that’s why he’s still haunted by the visions and auditory hallucinations. At the end of the game however, when Legget asks if he can handle snow, alluding to 101st and 82nd being forced into the crucible of Bastogne and Foy, two difficult battles, that form the bulge, is where Baker finally gets over this haunting hallucinations. That’s why he gives the speech, and that’s why he tosses the gun. Long story short for your two year old question, Baker is not dreaming, he’s having hallucinations.
