I have removed this F--ing D300 so many times now... only someone who's done it would know the frustration involved. It's inherent when we try and make parts fit that weren't designed to go together. I pulled the whole transmission and D300 together this weekend and no, it doesn't make it easier.

I fabbed a saddle for it. That has been the only way I have been able to pull it alone.

So the seal was the culprit? I replaced my seal and it still leaks. Maybe I used a crappy seal? do you happen to remember the brand you used?

The same thing happened with mine when I opened it up I had. I think it's still missing one cuz it just disappeared. The circuit board mounting bolts and nuts. It's not the highest quality device. You have the Susan 735 MP?
