Palace of the Dead only good exp if you get to the 50th floor so that you can repeat the 50th-60th floor in a group over and over again. Doing this will also help max out your aetherpool, which is the measure of power and defense while in the Palace since your own armor and weapons don't count.

Welcome back. I level mostly with FATES & bounties and daily roulettes. Level appropriate dungeons or FATE grinding are probably the fastest methods after MSQ. At higher levels there are more options and the exp flows pretty freely. Everyone says Palace of the Dead is good for leveling, but I think that comes with a lot of caveats. Dying gets you no exp so its very frustrating until you get sufficiently powerful with multiple runs and resetting your progress often.

Not sure if someone has told you but you can equip the best in slot gear automatically (only saying because I saw you equipping the gunbreaker equipment manually) hope you continue the series sometime!

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but… you can actually remove the veil if you want. Some helmets have a “visor” function, which you can toggle in your character Menu (it’s that button right next to the “display/hide helmet” and “display/hide weapon” buttons under your stats)

Quick tip if i may. When you have all of the gear in the armory chest you can hit the blue person icon above your character in the C menu. It will automatically pull all gear that will be best in slot for you at current gear level. Its a bit wonky at low levels but post 50 it works perfectly.

New Game Plus can not be used to level, you don’t earn any exp from replaying the MSQ.

Dancer is a strange class. It's a "physical ranged" class because it shares dex gear with bards and machinists, but it's bursts and aoe only do damage in close range. It's the class I would recommend most to those who prefer WoW because 90% of the class's abilities are procs or procs within procs, but you can't just go for the epeen dps numbers because you need to "dance partner" a party member (usually another dps of your choice) to get the best performance for the party. Gunbreaker is all about throwing everything you have during the "No Mercy" damage window or as I call it the Random Bullshit Go button. At level 60 you have the bullet-spending combo, an ogcd, and a dot but as you level you'll have more buttons to squeeze in to really feel like a dps who just happens to tank. The level 70 gunbreaker quest gives you an ogcd followup to every hit of the bullet combo PLUS all the other ogcd whack-a-mole you'll be doing every minute which means most gunbreaker players will be double-weaving like crazy.

Nice to see you pick up some new jobs! Dancer is my Go-To Class that I've been playing since I got into Post-Shadowbringers questing, it is a blast at higher levels!

There is no automatic dismount, the best you can do is press Z, which will dismount you, or lower you down if you're too high up.

There's a setting to auto skip cutscenes you've already seen. Also, as far as not being about to attack from the mount? I have NO explanation for that. They need to steal that from WoW, right after they steal WoW's tab targeting.
