For videography, lumix g7 or sony A6000?
@nabeelkasim5 ай бұрын
Not familiar with the G7 unfortunately but I'd be weary of the limited stabilization the A6000 has for video. Also consider it only does 1080p. So, ultimately a tough question to answer without more knowledge on your use case.

Do it! I've had mine since release in 2014 and it's been great. The kit lenses can be hit and miss, but if you invest in a great lens to go with it you'll be good to go.

@@CharlesLockyer yeah I ended up getting one, I found a really good deal with both kit lenses (18-50 and 55-210) and also ended up getting the 50mm f/1.8 and the nifty fifty is definitely my favorite of the three!

Hello! I switched to the FX30 from my a6600. I need help with 2 things: the image on the external monitor is now cropped in so the image doesn't fill the screen. I have tried everything settings wise. Any suggestions? I shoot vertical, and the the image export is a vertical in a horizontal. Anything I can do differently?

awesome video. thank you for sharing your experience with the sony a6000. i got my a6000 about a month ago and its so fun to use. however i plan on getting a better lens soon. kit lens is okay to start with but my next purchase would be a sigma 30mm 1.4 prime lens.

Hi i have a6000 + 16-50mm but i want to buy the sony 55-210 mm for sports photgraphy and some portraits is thats good ? Or i change the camera and save the lens money
@nabeelkasim6 ай бұрын
Save your money and buy a faster and sharper lens for sports photography. I didn’t find the 55-210 to be super sharp. I prefer constant aperture too. If you plan to buy a full frame. Try to go for one of the 70-200s which will give you an equivalent of 140-300 on your a6000 and will crop in on the sharpest parts of the lens.
@NickFix193 ай бұрын
if you get 55-210mm as a pack like i did it is ok, but i would save and get a fixed AP. if you shoot at 210 you can only do f6.3

Which gimbal would you use for a run? I know you said this one was a bit heavy. Thanks for the info!
@nabeelkasim6 ай бұрын
DJI has made some strides in making their mobile gimbals smaller and lighter. You can checkout the newer versions of these gimbals but iPhone 15 pro has implemented active stabilisation which is perfect for sunny outdoor activities without a gimbal!

I think the sony nex-6 would be a more realistic option for being who can't afford the 400+ tbh.. which is what I've got
@nabeelkasim6 ай бұрын
Could also be a great option but consider The MP is much lower and you likely would not be able to do ANY video on that.

Great Video! I'm currently using the GH5 and looking to upgrade to a new full-frame camera. I'm torn between the S5iix and the FX3. Do you think the extra cost for the FX3 is worth it? I’ve watched several footage videos from both cameras on KZbin, especially in the music video genre, and I find Sony’s look much more modern and cinematic.
@nabeelkasim6 ай бұрын
I’m a big fan of Sony. Consider the FX3 was used to film the creator, a major Hollywood film. So, it’s a highly capable camera. Not sure about the S5iix. Let me know what you decide to go with! In any case that new camera feel is going to be so good. ☺️
@pinikpikantv35556 ай бұрын
Would be worth it as vintage feel like 3rd camera. I love using a 24 GM on my 6100 fits its better than the FF. Love the form factor. My only OSS lens FF is the 90 G macro turning it to 135 mm range in 24 MP. For stills I love using the 55 Zeiss no OSS fits it perfectly. The 35 zeiss also is great but aside from zeiss pop the kitlens is smaller and more reach although slower bit 3.5 on 16 mm vs 35 2.8 .
@nabeelkasim6 ай бұрын
the form factor is to die for! Nice to get the extra range out of those already fantastic lenses too

I think it depends on what your photography goals are. It's still way more than what most people who would buy it will ever need. But since you can get one for pretty cheap these days... why not?
@nabeelkasim6 ай бұрын
This is true, in a lot of cases your iPhone X will outperform any combination of lens plus a6000. But if you are trying to get more into the world of mirrorless interchangeable lens photography, it’s a good start!

Great video with nice images, good editing & likable narration. Doing an 18 mile hike in a day is impressive, especially with the broken boardwalks in swampy areas. Seeing moose, loons and a wolf track is a thrill, and wild blueberries are the best! Some music is ok, but constantly can be distracting. Can't go wrong with natural sound: lapping waves, forest sounds, loons, etc. End kinda broke off.

You can get your permit when you arrive to the island. The park ranger will confirm your route and where you plan to be sleeping each night. The permit comes in the form of a tag that you will attach to your backpack and tent throughout your journey
