Everything you say about this game is so true, this game sucks and rigged. I always ended up getting defeated within 3 turns or less, they increase their monsters up to 10,000 Attack Points or more, causing me to get 1 hit KOed, and I feel as if this game is all bot players or people are hacking and cheating their way to victory, and everyone is gambling and spending all their real money on gems to earn more cards. Which in conclusion makes this game unfair, not fun and rage inducing. I'm a beginner duelist and I'm only playing this game for fun plus, but when I get overpowered by other duelists and their monsters, it makes me rage, stress and annoyed. I'm trying to come up with different strategies to build a strong deck and strategies to win the duel but so far I have no luck at all at times. This game sucks, rage inducing, unfair, less fun, and is trash. If Konami wants to make a Yugioh game, make one that is less stressful, not rigged, no cheats or hacks, and is fun and stress free for everyone.

couple notes as well on handtraps: mulcharmys: do your best to limit their draws while also making detonator with as mnay materials as possible of course if they use double mulcharmy just stop your plays. droll and lock bird: you can usually play through droll but again whats great about this deck is that detonator and passing play is a perfectly fine answer lol bystials: you can avoid them by reviving ryzeals from grave that arent light attribute whenever possible. they hurt more in the fiendsmith build. the best way to stop this deck is opening at least 2 handtraps and always doing your best depending on the board state, to negate the duo drive since that gets so much advantage.

These cards suck. Being locked into zombies is a big deal because it severely limits the decks capabilities since Skull servants can be used as an engine either for link climbing or synchro climbing with cards like uni-zombie and other tuners while also locking it out of very helpful cards like Leviair the sea dragon. Also your narrow view of skull servants is apparent since you think they don’t have a going first board. It’s the only way you can play in today’s meta. Stop your opponents plays then go for the kill.

Quitting this game again after coming back for two years. It’s the most expensive set rotation of any TCG. People tell you but we have access to more than 10k card or whatever, but all you can really play competitively every year is the new set coming out with the standard 20 hand traps/board breakers. Pokémon has a legit set rotation where it costs you 200 dollars to play competitively (max). It’s such a scam. Go ahead, try to be creative with whatever deck building you do, you will always come back to the last set released in order to win consistently.

I’ve noticed about a year ago or so that Konami’s new business plan is to “ban out” affordable decks and strategies so players are forced to buy the newest cards to compete. Back then it was rikka sunavalon. This list proves the same. They took Tenpai out back and brought back laughable useless cards. I’m considering bowing out of yugioh once again. However, I spent hundreds on RC staples, Mermail Atlantean and Tenpai cards. I feel might as well play Mermail Atlantean. Just waiting for the new support cards in Supreme Darkness.

I think Live☆Twin Fiendsmith has a lot of potential this format, especially as it can play 20+ non engine, plus the new generic link 4 coning out in SUDA.

The issue is that the event did not show hand traps need to be banned. It showed that going first decks are stronger than ever and people are really desperate when it comes to give themselves a chance againts some of these boards. Banning hand traps, unbanning call by and gamma, it just makes going first decks STRONGER. You NEED hand traps. Because some going first decks are over tuned to the point that you MUST stop their combo or you will most likely not win that game. Without hand traps, how are you stopping Yubel? How are you dealing with Ritual Beast? Have fun when they end on Colossus and Protos lmao. If you dont stop Snake eye Ash or Wanted, you are not winning that game. Hand traps are a symptom of an unhealthy game. The more hand traps you see, the more it communicates that the game is unhealthy to the point where if you dont have 3 hand traps while going second, againts a meta deck, you will lose. Unless they brick, or they just suck and dont know how to play combo properly. Even a joke deck like Raidraptors, if you dont stop if with hand traps, they end on 5k beastick that is unaffected by your cards :) Decks like Spright and Voiceless Voice are mid, yet, if you dont hit them with hand traps, you will have to go second and play through 6+ disruptions with only your 6 cards. You see what I mean? Hand traps are needed to even the playing field when going second. Otherwise, the game is just a coin toss simulator and a cutscenes galore.

This was no celebration, Konami turned this 25th celebration into a Holocaust. So much value has been plundered from the community that it's borderline cancerous. Konami rewarded local game stores with trash product and making it near impossible to resell yugioh cards. Due to this celebration, most Local Game Stores have dropped yugioh due to the fact that they can't sell singles anymore.

Discussion vids are elite. I wish Konami would have kept the 25th celebration going for 1 year. It feels like it’s been 3 years of celebration, it’s a little played out. To keep people excited for the next celebration you have to keep them between 12-15 months in length.

Unless you want to have fun with 3x structure deck builds? Singles and card packs aren't cheap, and Red Dragon Archfiend is iconic.

Card suggestions since I’m a fellow paleo enjoyer: - Fiend Griefing (More consistent access to normal traps through back jack) - magicolloidal sol (There are some funny synchro tricks you can do stealing an opponents monster with the trap. Especially if you consider leaning away from the supreme soul package) - ret-time reviver emit-ter (Great with paleos for flipping annoying monsters. Helps at making opabinia or anomalocarius. Randomly a tuner) - vulmina, statue is the scared dragon (Nice card for the supreme king package with odd-eyes arcray dragon) - the black goat laughs (always a nice mill and good card in general - puppet shark (funny card that works with xyzs and gets access to mostly traps but you can grab other cards with it. I’ve had limited success but with ryzeal on the horizon it may be a solid side deck option) Overall solid list you’ve got. Hopefully you stick with the deck or a similar list for the YCS!
