@@turbochargedr3362 this video is just 10psi , still kinda in the break in phase for the motor (>500 miles since i rebuilt it) but once i can get some more miles on it , it’ll get turned up to 14-16psi range

on cold side intercooler piping around where factory battery tray usually is. so it is inline with intercooler piping. i now have a mrp performance aluminum z32 housing as well which helps with blow through setup since stock plastic maf housing will start to crack etc with boost running thru it

@@archzay5073 No this is a pieced together kit, I got ISR top mount manifold, rsx3076 with isr top mount hot side intercooler pipe then pieced together everything else

Cams were set at stock timing even though I have adjustable gears, reason it sounds choppy is because I had some fat vacuum leaks at the fuel rail from injectors not seating into the manifold all the way

original ka-t is still good, sitting on a stand in my shop right now, still good , just got another motor to build it for more boost and have peace of mind that it has been built and bulletproofed/refreshed

I have adjustable camshaft gears but left them at the stock marks for now, will eventually go through the process of degreeing the cams but at the stock location it runs good and I like the powerband

Thanks! yeah it is because at the time of filming this, I had a pretty bad vacuum leak which was causing it to sound a lot more choppy than it should, I will post a new video soon of how it sounds now that it is running correctly @@daemendi9649

it runs rich but that is because the tune is a chipped ecu so the tuner tunes it slightly richer for safety

@@kylehawkins9591 oh i see i got my ka-t in a nissan 720 and it runs at 10.1 or 11.2. But when i drive it looks like a diesel . It leaves a trail of black smoke. The oil smells like gasoline.

yeah thats pretty rich if that is your afrs driving around casually but WOT and doing a pull 10.1 or 11.2 is good, yeah its a little rich but not terribly different from what I have read if that is your afrs while hard on throttle @@emacflores7914

@@BrianLiu actually in the earlier clips, resonator in place is a magnaflow res i think. I will have to post an updated sound clip, just welded up a custom 3 inch exhaust from turbo back with one ebay resonator in line with a turn down tip right by the diff and it sounds nastyyyy

2 and a quarrter inch to 3 inch test pipe then to 2.5 inch back to the rear of the car with one magnaflow muffler in the 2.5 inch section

nope! daily drive this thing every day and zero issues have risen that were related to boosting the car, still just regular maintenance, just get gauges to monitor everything and keep up on maintenance and on low boost the stock motor will be more than fine

for power and ground I just wired to power and ground for my radio but that sounds like something that could have to do with sensor? I know there's like a calibration mode on the gauge so I would try that then email them they are pretty good about responding fast

@@kylehawkins9591 yeah I did the same wiring wise and I used my old and new sensor and made no difference hopefully wiring a relay to the pump will help otherwise 🤷🏿‍♂️ Thanks bruh!

so this intercooler kit i bought off of craigslist for an sr20det but luckily through cutting and buying different bends and sized couplers I was able to make it work. If you want a good fitting intercooler piping kit I highly recommend getting the isr one for the ka24de-t I believe everything should be an exact fit, only downside is that it doesn't come with a spot to mount a bov, I ended up deleting my bov anyways but I know a lot of people like to run them so yeah that's the only thing with the isr piping, other than that its solid. If you're just gonna have it all cut up and rewelded I know cx racing makes a universal kit for pretty cheap you could buy and have someone fabricate up a clean setup.
