#3 - This is a prime reason to make English the official language of the US. EVERYONE should have at least a rudimentary understanding of English - LEO stops, accidents / first responders, 911 calls, etc. Imagine needing help in an emergency and you cannot communicate or be understood. You don't visit France not knowing some French and expect everyone to know English! The US was founded with English speakers; our governing documents are written in English. Everyone speaking the same language serves to unify and strengthen a country. It bridges the gap between different people and cultures.

Should be given a criminal ticket for not speaking English as well honestly. If you can't communicate at a traffic stop to the cop you should be getting a fine.. Not obeying traffic laws and doesn't speak a lick of English
