Beautiful! I tend to put my under glazes on before the bisque fire, too. It makes putting the glaze on easier because I don't have to worry about smudging my work.

I do pottery too. I am amazed at your talent. I do hand building and have better skill at hand building versus using a potters wheel. I have a backyard pottery studio with a small electric kiln. You are very fortunate to have a large studio. Hope you make great works of art for years to come.

Troy has given me one of those moments of why didn't I do it that way. Using a small board on the cookie cutter opens up the mind to think a wee bit more whenever working with clay. Will help reducing the pressure on these aging fingers down the road. Good projects to try out and wonderfully glazed finished butterfly air plant holder. Thanks for sharing!
