Biden is 100% not pro Union. Instead, he'd lower the cost of living and make it easier for working class families to survive. He'd also force all products consumed in the US to be made in the US..banning multinational corporations. He'd also be against immigration which is taking jobs away from Americans, and he'd be anti-feminism and taking women out of the workforce, allowing the family to be heathy and the labor market to be less saturated then it has been the past 40 years.

I may be a woman but I have always preferred information which is truthful. Even in high school I enrolled with the hard ass teachers where everyone was afraid. But that’s me. Most guys in my apprenticeship quit, they could not take the difficulty. I flourished. I had no need to throw anyone under the bus to keep a job. Did not kiss the fireman’s ass , play golf, go to tittie bars or swing on the meat. Where most men would not travel for work, I tramped. Did the job I loved.. maybe I should have used a sweet idealistic cute video with comedy like a couple of butt cracks . Anyhow it was a career I loved, have an excellent retirement I was able to buy my own home. I was a dental assistant in my past life. No benefits, nothing. The caliber of men in construction are way better than the creepy doctors.

Joe Biden PROMISED to kill the Keystone pipeline time and again then McManus still put all of our PAC money behind him and on day one he put thousands of 798 hands out of work. Now he's slobbering all over this guy and going to do it again Organized labor is treated just like the black vote, the democRATS only show up at election time. Hopefully the members will vote for their best interest. Trump/Vance 2024.

I loved it and miss the trade since retiring. It is better to expect it to be a hard job, many have sugar plum visions and think just putting up pipe makes the a apprentice foreman. You have to do grunt work to production.
@a-totally-random-person18 күн бұрын
@beekeepermariadelgado6806 I know. I'm an operator on a job with pipefitters right now. It looks like a trade like any other. Ups and downs. This video will discourage people who might do well in the trade from applying.

Im barely going to get started and my local union sent me this video and it does make the job seem like ass, guy said he gets home at 12 and wakes up at 5-4 am? Does the job lead anytime for you to have a life?!
@a-totally-random-person11 күн бұрын
@Podcastngo I'm actually an Operating Engineer. My cousin's a pipefitter. In my union, some companies work a lot of hours, some don't. My cousin works 45hrs/week. The pipefitters I'm working with now are doing 72 hrs, so it depends on what you want in your career.
@beekeepermariadelgado680611 күн бұрын
@@Podcastngo Too many apprentices have visions of lollipops and smooth sailing. Most important is to show up everyday, do not be late, keep your phone in your car or lunch box. However your hall dispatches when out of work whether you show up or call in be available. Do not take vacations while working. Do not bring personal issues to work. Do not talk shit about another co-worker you never know if it is the bosses grandson etc. Working include picking up shit and moving it, sweeping etc. You get paid the same. Do not lend out your tools, do not borrow tool from others, make sure your do have the essential tools. Do not use your truck to bring material or depending how strong you local is do not bring your own cordless tools. Working in the trade is not hard, just don’t be a crybaby shit ass. Learn as much as you can, get all certs when you can. Do not assume just because you are working for one company they will keep you. Everyone gets laid off.

The UA should hold a vote and let the membership vote and see what candidate they support. And the UA should follow suit and support the memberships wishes after all it's their money going into pac funds. I can almost bet it wouldn't be a Democrat. How can an administration be pro union with and open border? 25 million in . Atleast half working age men. Ready to flood the labor pool for 1/8 the price and the current administration is giving them training also...in plumbing , hvac , electric.....and quality of life was better when trump was in office. Gas ,food was cheap interest rates were low ...list goes on and on

@@overwatchtactical888 We pay our UA leadership to find out which candidate is best suited for our membership. We are part of a representative government. Do you actually think our membership knows more or better than our elected union brothers & sisters. Our members don't get a fraction of what our leaders learn.
@ArmchairCivilianАй бұрын
I totally love when people think for me. Yes the UA leadership does not understand that it's members have been abandoned by the Democrat party. We do not want our money going to Harris or the Democrats. I guarantee changes are coming to the UA leadership. Everyone I talk to is fed up with the current state of things. I will be voting for trump and so will most of my UA brothers and sisters. The current UA leadership is acting against the best interest of its members. It can not continue.

@@overwatchtactical888 Why? You think you know more than our elected union leaders? It's the same type of representative leadership as our government. Name one style of leadership that is better. Some of our rank & file doesn't even vote or vote for candidates that actually hurt them.

Trump had 5 things he ran on in 2016 5th on his list was infrastructure. When he tried to get it though during COVID, Nancy Pelosi said, and I quote “we are not going to let the people get a check with Donald Trump on it” . And so we have the inflation reduction act, of which paved roads that didn’t need paving. Now we see collapse of major passes that concern commerce failing. Yet Pete can some how stand up for how well things are going

Thinking about doing this. Just curious, how bad are the commutes usually?
@superIBM12315 ай бұрын
It really depends on where you are and the work available. If you’re in a big city expect somewhere from 20 minutes to an hour commute at most. If you’re out in a rural area in can be even longer. I am lucky enough to live in Portland working at intel. 30 minutes to work and 45 back working 4-10s. Just remember as an apprentice you cannot choose where you work they will put you as needed. So it is possible to have work available close by but being assigned to somewhere an hour away because the demand is greater (that is what happened to me my first year)
