I was only going to watch a few minutes of this video…just busy tonight…but you absolutely memorized me with your honest, casual and credible presentation. Yeah, I’m late to the party on this video (it’s Dec. 2023] but it came up on my YT feed and now I’m subscribed to your channel.

So many amazing stories of overcoming tragedy with these rockstar athletes at CAF. We can all learn and be inspired by them. Bob is clearly invested in helping to propel these athletes to achieve their best. Thanks for bringing us along, Sarah! ❤ And, I must say, you bounce back from that spill on the bike so fast. The crazy resilience!

Haha thanks 🙏🏻 I’m not so sure I’ve fully bounced back yet. Still working on it. Bob is awesome. I really wanted to show how far reaching his work is. People really need to know he’s far more than what we see in Triathlon. Thanks for watching. 😊

Thanks Robert, tough day but we have to take the good with the bad, especially when you look at it over the 15+ years i have raced as a professional.

Loved watching the race and suddenly you vanished away… as i have broken rips (all left side) and more broken parts (collarbone and shoulder-plate) in my shoulder, i tell you that it takes me still a lot of energy in the healing process and i was surprised when i saw your quick comeback. Give it time and you don’t need to prove us anything but just be yourself as you are a nice person…

Brilliant to hear you’ve recovered so well after that nasty little incident. My Coach put in a fair bit of snorkel work for me this year before race season and it really helped with a bit of stroke imbalance, maybe there’s a technique improvement you’ve gained as a result which I think you hinted at. To be honest, given the way we tend to look for short sharp fixes these days, I think a maximum of, say, 15 minutes for these videos might encourage more viewers so for me this was an ideal length. That said, I’m sure there is scope for occasional longer videos. Of course, disregard these ideas as you will ☺️ A close friend of mine from Melbourne recently settled in an apartment at Coolum Beach, I enjoyed visiting after the Age Group World Championships in 2018, lovely area and I hope to return perhaps next year sometime. Your hair looks awesome, best of luck at IM Cairns, I hope you can race pain free and defend your title🤞Looking forward to videos from Park City, I’ve enjoyed training in Tucson and Clermont and open to other areas in future. Cheers from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Oh yes, you mention an important topic. Thanks very much! I got a bad sunburn in Texas and dnf‘d the Ironman. 😢 That's not the only reason why I have regular check-ups at the dermatologist. The shorter the intervals, the easier it is to do something with less effort and less drastic consequences. 👍

Just watched this Sarah - I’m just a humble AGer but fwiw I had my best result at Kona after cracking a rib. I’d been training super hard and it forced me to dial back the intensity and just go aerobic for the last few weeks. Hope it all heals well and see you in Cairns (I’ll just be spectating this one)

Rain and weather = funny, do you really save that much time taking your shoes off a few seconds earlier, we need to chat about that one sister, part of winning anything in life is knowing when to = hardest thing to do in life is the ability to take a step back from oneself and look outside in rather than always looking from inside out, can you do Cannes of course you CAN, sorry dying is easy comedy is hard, titanium bike in the future, song for the video = I’m still standing = Elton John.

Hi Amanda! I was last year but since then the races have clashed with my Ironman preparation. It’s so hard to turn on the speed in a big Ironman block which I discovered at Edmonton last year. Lead pack in the swim and an epic fail for the rest of the race. Next year I plan to do a few more. Good question it’s a hard balance.
