Thank you, Pastor, for the message. I appreciate it. I read Tolstoy’s comments on the Sermon on the Mount. I had previously studied Mtt5-7 and was not satisfied with the various ways commentators sought and found ways to excuse us from the literal interpretation and application of these “expectations” of Jesus. At 76 years old, I’m more dissatisfied and disappointed than ever with my faith and my expression of the significance of Jesus’ sermon. I have hope when I say (as Tolstoy says) that Jesus is serious and means what He says here. But how lost that makes me feel. Two or three hermetical points strike me … : 1 “until all is fulfilled” > “it is finished” 2 “As your heavenly Father is perfect” > I think the nature of the Father’s perfection is no reducible to or measurable be the so-called perfection of the Decalogue etc. it’s a totally different genre and dynamic. In my (former) traditions, the Decalogue (mode, method and content) was looked up to; I think Jesus completely sets that whole paradigm aside and that we stumble somewhat because our expectation is as low as the law. In my former traditions we still viewed ourselves as disciple “after the flesh” and rising above conformity was excused by merely forensic grace… the genre and abundant vital grace of the Spirit were not really expected. This complex of nuances does not solve my dilemma… just reporting my discontent. Thanks again.

I wonder what will be the hardest to abstain from this advent. Polotics, beer, or cigarettes. Three things normal people revile, but it is what it is hahaha

Where did you get the idea that Maty was 14? The Bible doesn't say so, and the age of Elizabeth is not known eather, and who told you she had miscarriages? And why do you assume Mary traveled alone? She probably traveled with some experienced travelers, maybe on horses or camels. And why do you think she was afraid to tell her parents, who were most likely the most righteous people and knew the prophecy about a virgin conceiving the Messiah?And Mary gives an expression of a very mature and spiritual yong woman. Why are you allowing your self to add to the scriptures what is not in there? Do you know it is a sin?

After an unplanned divorce, I couldn't find housing. So homelessness was my only option. After a political president won (promising housing, ibelieved) got my vote. My values with respect to celibacy and platonic lifestyle remained true to Christ, despite the telepathic sexual assaults that followed. Jesus gave me the power to tell a Healthcare worker. I continued to serve and be true to Christ with His values of celibacy and platonic lifestyle. I am a heterosexual woman living a platonic life with celibacy, always or unless marriage where holy matrimony, telepathically with one man - God's plan for marriage, not mankind or earthly leaders. Correct me, if I'm wrong? I am a Follower of Jesus Christ, a celibate God 😊

Adam, did I miss the example of an untruth about President Trump? I heard the one about the 13,090 immigrants not entering under Vice President Harris, but I was wondering if I missed the other side’s example. Please let me know. Thanks so much! God Bless! 🙏🏼

Einstein also said: "All religions, arts and sciences are all branches of the same tree". Religion will never outdo science and science will never outdo religion, because neither one can disprove the other. Not factually. Faith. Faith in religion, faith in science.

Sir, we are indeed physically at the centre of our universe. Our ability to measure 360 degrees around extends the same distance no matter what direction you face. This puts you bang in the centre of the visible universe.

this pastor somehow thinks there is something redeeming about liberals; i would say the only thing I can see is they have worldly love but that is also their greatest weakness because they reject the truth of God and replace it with a perverse love driven by selfish desire; what are the promises? you can have an abortion on demand, you can break any law, you deserve free things without working, you are being abused by systemic racism; pastor you are lost; you have no clue what liberals actually represent and i have to ask is it because you are one?
@andyarellanoChannelАй бұрын
this is a foolish interpretation; this pastor is a false teacher; he doesn't even know what love is; he thinks love is love which is a lie direct from Satan; you seem confused on how we treat non-believers vs how we treat believers; when Jesus said love one another he was talking about his followers; you seem to equate those that love abortion to his followers which could not be further from the truth; those are not followers those are people in rebellion embracing their selfish desires not the word of God; if we want to love the evil doer then we have to speak God's truth there is no other option; speak like Paul, speak like Peter, speak like the Lord and tell them "you are the children of your father the devil for embracing such wicked practices" now that is love

D on’t like the F. Word in Ted lasso,,,, an occasional F word in the movie is fine, but Ted Lasso it’s almost like every other word and it’s becoming normalized among our youth, which is sad to me because Isiah the prophet knew that profanity was wrong when he said “Lord, ,I am a man of unclean lips… And the F word is reflective of unclean lips of a negative heart… I like Adam very much, but I think he chooses some very bad movies or programs to portray a certain concept… Just because a movie is popular does not mean that they are edifying in terms of our spiritual character. Certainly is not what Jesus wants us to use in our lives in our hearts, Jesus said your speech reveals your heart… Would I want to use the F word in front of Jesus or the holy Angels? Absolutely not when you watch program like this the profanity becomes complacently absorbed into your spirit just by way of watching you accepted and accepting it, you are not, calling it out as wrong, which it is, using the F word is profanity and unacceptable to Jesus and the holy angels it won’t have a place in heaven so we should have a place here, let’s stand up turn these programs off and stop using the F wordmouse if we are using it
