The first week of my recovery I ate fresh fruit. Apples, grapes, watermelon, oranges, and pineapple. Also ate the 90 sec heat and serve packs of rice. The organic brand that make quinoa and brown rice or basmati or jasmine. Scrambled an egg to go with them. Also ate high protein low added sugar Greek yogurt and oat meal that had low sugar. I experienced no nausea or diarrhea.

My wife just got out of Hospital 45 days in Hospital cause jag off cut bile duct and needed a specialist. Do not goto some general hospital surgeon. Make Sure uou have a liver specialist due your surgery or at least your hospital has bile duct specialists at your hospital or you may need transfered to one after jag off butchers you and you have to wait three weeks at jag offs hospital for bed to open at specialists hospital. Gallbladder surgery is not a simple scope surgery. One wrong tick can knock a bile duct and you are fuked. This is a dangerous surgery that too many tom dick and harry's are allowed to perform. My wife is on couch in pain now on oxycodones. She was on interveinous liquid food only for 7 days and lost 35 lbs. She looks like a starvation camp victim during holodomor. She is a personal trainer for twenty years to stars. She went in hospital with a body of a shredded lean racehorse and is now an emaciated shadow of herself. After 40 days in hospital bed she is home cause specialists saved her life from a general surgeon hatchet man. Do not take this surgery lightly. Make sure you use a specialist and not Leave it to Cleaver.

I just want to thank you for taking the time to be honest and vulnerable, and posting this video for people like me. My gallbladder was removed a few days ago. I feel pain and pressure, but I expected it. I was just looking for some hope for the future because I agree, there are more negative videos on the internet than there are positive ones, so I was beginning to feel depressed. I’m going to hold onto the hope you’ve given me and continue to work things into my diet and routine very slowly. Thank you again! ❤

I went into Ed with another gallbladder attack but unfortunately I had gotten pancreatitis so I had to wait for that to calm down before I got surgery . because I was already admitted into the surgical ward I was able to stay in hospital longer after surgery so when I went home I was already feeling better my gas had gone down and I was able to try foods out in the hospital and if things went south I was able to have medication but fortunately I was eating pretty good after surgery and didn’t experience too much nausea after eating so I got back to a “normal”(low fat obviously) diet pretty quick literally like the next day I’m currently 2 days post op and feeling amazing compared to before surgery still sore obviously but sooo much better

Scars depend on your skin tone as well. People with olive skin tone will tend to have darker scars. People likely myself who are fair skin toned will have scars that are hardly visible. I just had my survey a week from yesterday and i am still in more pain than when I went through child birth. I was getting around great for the first 3 days (day of surgery which was a Wednesday and then Thursday Friday and even Saturday) with the normal expected soreness. I even planned on going back to work (the Dr I work for knew the circumstances and was ok with me taking it easy) but on the Sunday after my surgery I began having Debilitating abdominal pain causing me to literally hollar and bellow out at the top of my lungs until someone came in to help me. This has now been going on for 4 days. I can’t lay for long periods of time, can’t sit or stand or walk for long periods of time bc I have what feels to be an excess amount of trapped gasses in my abdominal cavity. I guess I should mention that my one hour gallbladder surgery took FOUR hours because the surgeon began doing it robotic and had to switch to laparoscopic bc the computer for the robotic kept freezing. Then he ended up switching back to robotic. I also have SIX incisions rather than the normal four. The incision where they take the gallbladder out (which is only about the size of two chicken eggs anyway) had to be made bigger bc one of the stones in my gallbladder was about the size of the surgeons thumb so the gallbladder wouldn’t fit through it’s designed incision without being made larger. I’m all good with everything else except I just want this trapped gas to evacuate my body so I’m not in excruciating pain 100% of the time anymore lol. I’d like to be able to take a deep breath without having pain from the gas trapped. I’d like to laugh and play with my dog and carry on a conversation without getting winded because I’m in pain from the trapped gas
