I just want to thank you for taking the time to be honest and vulnerable, and posting this video for people like me. My gallbladder was removed a few days ago. I feel pain and pressure, but I expected it. I was just looking for some hope for the future because I agree, there are more negative videos on the internet than there are positive ones, so I was beginning to feel depressed. I’m going to hold onto the hope you’ve given me and continue to work things into my diet and routine very slowly. Thank you again! ❤

I had my gallbladder out one week ago...on Monday. I was back to work Thursday and Friday...and today is Monday. It was a pretty "meh" surgery...I went home after 4 hours in recovery...never took a pain pill. I'm 65...and had my first gallbladder attack at 16. It's been a l-o-n-g time coming and I'm soooo glad it's gone!!! I tried spaghetti Saturday...got a bit of indigestion...and a large salad on Tuesday was too optimistic...but everything else I've tried has been great.

Thank you for this video! I know that bodies and reactions to surgeries are different. But this gave me assurance that I was going to be okay. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago, after approximately 6 YEARS of enduring gallbladder pain and full blown attacks (in my defense, 3 out of the 6 years I was getting misdiagnosed by doctors saying it was just gastritis lol). Once I had the correct diagnosis, I tried other things to see if I could avoid surgery but there was no other choice. I was so desperate and in pain that even though I was scared deep inside I knew it had to be done. Now, I'm recovering and so happy is over. I'm taking it slow with food as I was doing prior to the surgery because I was always scared of having another attack (even when I was eating healthy things). But so far so good!

This is the first video I have watched that hasn't made me cry my eyes out. Just had mine out on Friday and have been getting lost down rabbit holes on endless diarrhea or constipation, vitamins deficiencies, etc. Both my dad and brother have been fine post removal and have insisted I will be too. Hearing you are also doing okay is really reassuring. I am doing the same, being very careful with what I eat and slowly trying new things. Also same here with milk! Makes me sick anyways and never have liked the taste.
