Call me crazy, but I would have assumed that a toothpick designed to be stuck into your mouth, maybe even have bits break off in your mouth and be accidentally swallowed, would need to be food safe already

Could you make a playlist with all the debunking videos in it? It would be a great help, im trying to teach my little sister that not all hacks are going to work/are safe, she keeps trying hacks and they keep failing and it makes her sad

Idk if anyone has pointed this out, but i feel like it has to be said. Now, for what i am going to talk about, i will be using Aphmau as an example, as i have watched her stuff for years, and have seen it happen because of that. Once upon a time, a youtuber called Aphmau posted a minecraft rollplay called Minecraft Diaries. Minecraft Diaries was a huge hit for her viewers, so she continued to do that along with the content that she was already doing, and continued on with the series while also introducing another minecraft rollplay, this time being a slice of life called My Street, which again was a hit. She did season upon season of minecraft rollplays, some being stranger than others(Mermaid Tales), and some being unknown to a good chunk of her audience, but that didnt stop her from doing them. Eventually however, the youtube algorithm started to favor kids content and pushed away videos that took longer to make. Because of the algorithm, Aphmau started to branch out into more kid oriented content. It was slow at first, but it quickly became more popular than her previous content, and pushed her to abandon her older minecraft rollplays(Not entirely true, as there is hope that My Street will get a final season). I hope you could see what i was trying to say with that little story, and if you couldnt, i would recomend you go to her channel, and sort from oldest to newest, because her content was quite different from how it is now(It's like night and day).

If you report shorts on youtube, saying youre not interested they will stop showing up in your feed and show up less under video recommendations, its saved hours of my life

Honestly, I love how thorough you are and how you continue to be non-bias. So far, it is still the best source on KZbin yet, about food science and debunking all the misinformation.

Thank you for the video; very well done. My biggest problem with fugu is that the poor fish is butchered while still alive and, unlike eels, are not killed by the first "cut."

Random question - does anyone know how she gets her after plastic items literally spotless? I can't even get a pan I use regularly that clean, let alone something I destroyed on purpose. Is it because it's just sugar and water? I'd still think it'd leave residue like when you cook with oil and it burns, but maybe I'm wrong.

I miss Aphmau's less kid friendly videos, unfortunately a very high majority of them are now more child friendly over just having random fun with friends.╥﹏╥

Damn, you are doing a lot of misses with some of these lately, you are trying to cause drama where it's not needed, and ignore all the criticism you are getting, how far have you fall.

My heart breaks thinking of those poor kids getting burned by that sugar 😞 Kids are still learning and count on adults to teach them how to do things safely. I can't imagine how scary and painful that would have been for them 😭 Poor things, I hope they recover soon

I have yet another theory about cookie thickness and spread. I baked cookies, as a kid and they were always massively thick and not over crunchy. My recipe uses both baking soda and an egg, but later, as an adult, I used it and was much saddened by the less puffy results insomeof the batches. I'm convinced the difforence is in the quality of the cookie pan used, as the rather grubby looking pans remaining from my early years and one of the new ones produced nice thick cookies, but two larger new pans caused the cookies to "pancake" a lot more. I've always greased with butter and never used paper on my pans -whatever difforence that makes or doesn't. But I really stand by this. I think high quality cooie sheets might be the secret, which is why it's so frustrating--People aren't likely to suspect that metals conducting heat difforently can make cookies more impressive than most cafe ones or, conversely, very sadly flat.

Actually there are several fresh cut vegetables that do stay crisper in cold water, including already cut and cleaned lettuce, sliced peppers and cut carrots.

Pretty much all of the color blind glasses videos irk me because while I don't doubt that they CAN help (not "fix" it altogether), the instructions even say you need to have them on for a minimum of around 30 minutes before your eyes adjust to the point of seeing the new colors. So all the videos of people putting them on and then immediately breaking out in tears because of the purple balloon are fake.

4:14 a small correction!! They say it’s better to use lukewarm-cold water for burns! More a matter of nuance in making sure folks who are unaware don’t pure FREEZING cold water because the reaction is to turn the tap to the coldest possible point. The issue is once it gets super cold it starts reacting with the burn in the sense of two extremes meeting. I guess people could also know cold doesn’t mean freezing but always worth extra explaining when it comes to health and safety!! Love the videos ❤️

Oh wow, that was a wild ride. I've never heard of this before and it turned into a plot even soap operas would call over the top. It's kinda hilarious to me that people are like "Hi stranger on social media. I wanna buy this mystery product made privately by you, an amateur" and then complain about labeling, faded colors, food safety, hygiene etc. While some of the criticism is completely valid, it sounds to me like "That stuff you privately throw together in your garage better be tested by every scientist worldwide for everything". And that guy saying "I didn't mean to hurt your business by claiming your product killed me." is the lowest of them all. I don't know the Pink Sauce lady and she definitely made mistakes, but I still hope she sued this guy for defamation. I have no idea how she got through this insane amount of public shaming.
