Hey boss man I had a question 🙋♂️ I wanted to do this to my 2010 g37 sedan what all would I need ? Can you point me in the right direction?
@WhiteTigerSS_Camaro5 ай бұрын
Without writing a book, I would suggest to go ahead and get your engine, transmission, and a Holley EFI (Terminator X is what I used), along with the wire harnesses compatible with your build. I really don't recommend using a ECM with a conversion wiring harness, I tried that and it didn't work at all (even with customer support), it was a waste of 2k and wished I just went with the Holley EFI system upfront. I don't know fitment of an LS in a G37, but if it's like mine you'll need a low-profile oil pan and low-profile exhaust manifolds. You'll also need the engine mounts (we custom made mine with some square tubing and 1/4" plates) With all that, you should be able to start fitting things together.

Can you get to the fuel pump from here
@WhiteTigerSS_Camaro5 ай бұрын
@@JoshuaCornwell-jf4fq yes and no. You would have to cut an access hole above the fuel pump, GM wasn’t kind enough to leave an access door to it. The “correct” way of accessing the fuel pump is to drop the rear end, then drop the fuel tank, but I’ve seen many people just cut the access hole though.

I haven’t got the AC working yet. The alternator, they sell adaptors online that go to 1-wire with a resistor that you connect to your ignition switch to tell it to start charging when the key is on. This is just an example, you’d have to make sure you get the correct connector. Holley.com part# 197-400 they sell them on Amazon too, which is where I think I got mine

What did you do to eliminate the front drive wheels?
@WhiteTigerSS_Camaro9 ай бұрын
We changed the front control arms and wheel hubs to the 2WD versions. Very important that you change the front wheel hubs to the 2WD version though because if you leave the ones with the spline center in, the wheel hubs will split apart and the wheels will fall off. (Almost learned the hard way) so apparently the front axles bolted on the AWD hubs are what keep them together when there’s weight on the car.
