You can save time removing the seat back by releasing the spring latches located on left and right hinge point. No need to unbolt anything.

Awesome thank you for this video. Can you remove the back seats but keep the seat? Thinking about doing a mobile detailing service out of my SS & putting a 40 gallon tank back there, and feeding the hoses out the trunk

I don’t hear much road noise, the exhaust can be heard more since it’s open to the trunk, but honestly haven’t heard any extra road noise from my car doing this

It’s not hard to put the seats back in if the road noise is too much, just a couple nuts and it’s back to stock 👍

@@JoshuaCornwell-jf4fq yes and no. You would have to cut an access hole above the fuel pump, GM wasn’t kind enough to leave an access door to it. The “correct” way of accessing the fuel pump is to drop the rear end, then drop the fuel tank, but I’ve seen many people just cut the access hole though.

The back rest, pull the lever that folds it down. The bottom seat, it’s just a hook it slides on to. it’s very simple.
