Can you cast to groups ? Using this setup, like if you have spekers in another room can you cast kusic to multiple chromecasts at one time?

Have a few of these laying around and was considering a dedicated music streamer to repurpose an old stereo receiver and tower speakers. Just picked up one of these adapters. I assume the Chromecast will need to be setup with a TV first before plugging into the adapter/amp. 👍🏽

was recently given one of these. are these piggy backing on wifi or is it standalone? my old setup was an Apple Airport Express with an optical out. your phone basically had to be in range. one of the neat things it could do is passthrough DTS surround sound music from phone to router and into a home theater system, and the system would pick up the decoding. a true rarity.

I plugged the chromecast to hdmi input on my harman kardon receiver, works amazing. I can cast all I want, even music from my samsung smartphone through Smart View.

Isn't it just easier to create a wifi adapter for the existing wall mount switch, that is the product I am searching for, I believe that is simple low current DC/AC switch?

I change my internet provider and I can't get the new wifi to work with the app. It's been a while since I had it before so now I don't remember how I set it the first time

I don't know what I did wrong. It's clicking but not opening. I can open it manually. On meross app mesg pops up "garage open action failed" and on eHome life it just clicks and nothing.

I got those today and I was trying to connect it to my wifi then it stopped working, every time I try changing colors it changes for one second then goes back to red again, do you have any idea?

Does the phone app work to open/close the garage door while away from home? i.e. while the phone is not connected to the home wifi router.

Great device, easy to install and now I can open my garage door from my Apple Watch when I return from a bike ride

nice review - though after about 6mos, mine has now decided to open and close randomly after I initially click in the app to open/close it - seems to have started happening just after the firmware 'upgrade' too.... tried different settings including changing trigger duration - may have to reset it all and start from scratch, bleh

I want to use siri to control Meross but when I set it up siri says it needs a passcode set up? I don't have a passcode on my iphone and don't want one on it, is there a way around this?

If MyQ G0401 and RSG100 were same price the MyQ would be a no brainer and cleaner to install. I don’t like the look of running the sensor wires all the way to the door.

I have the dude if the Chromecast video and CC audio have almost the same price. if the second is cheaper, I'd go for the second one.

Got one a few weeks ago. Installed it and it thought there was an obstruction; there wasn't. What passes for tech support is somewhere in the Orient because e-mails were only answered at night (here). There is no phone support. At one point, I waited FIVE days for a response. They finally sent me a second unit. It worked for a few hours and then developed the same problem. I told 'em I'd send it back to them and send the original back to Amazon for a refund and purchase something that worked and had decent tech support (Nexx NXG-200). My advice - don't waste your time with this thing.
