Our female will not allow our males near the nest. She currently has five eggs. Three are fertilized. The other two I can’t tell yet. We were not planning on babies. 🤦🏼♀️ But we were not for sure on the females sex.

My cockatiels all live long I recently lost my sweet Baby Bird he was 31 he enjoyed a waffle every morning with cellery or spinach or broccoli, corn he loved a cracker or a piece of 12 grain bread, Cheerios,He also loved cooked pasta and an occasional french fry,hard boiled egg

Growing up in the late 2000's, my family used to have a pair of green cheek conures both adopted in 2009, Jade was a turquoise, while Ruby was a yellow sided. Oddly the two younglings they had hatched in 2010 had mostly warm green feather, and the usual black & grey, there was a bit of red, mainly with the tail. Ruby unfortunately passed away during fall 2014 and Jade passed away early on in 2021. I still remember the two, and their oddly contrasting personality. Ruby was kind and gentle while Jade on the other hand was mean and only could be handled by my mother, though that's thanks to Jade having a not so great owner before being adopted in 2009.
