I've found some trees with lots of vines and leaves hanging down. This makes excellent targets. At first I was missing ?? Then I noticed I was bending my elbow too much. When I corrected this I could cut the vains on a leaf without the leaf falling off the tree or cut the leaf precisely in shapes. With multiple trees around myself 🤔 I have some good practice for cutting , thrusting and liai 🤺 ☯ 🙏 I really like to practice among trees 🎄

I started a couple of years ago with the Chen family tai chi. When I tried the sword during a seminar it was love at first sight. Now I study the Chen sword and the Wudang Xuan Men sword. Your expertise, empathy and communication skills are really precious to deepen the technique. See you soon, great teacher!😊

Master Li Jing “Inside outside and come back” the sword is the extension of the index finger and focus of direction as you have previously stated. This ease, relaxed movement is everywhere as bodily extensions. On a farm, milking, using a hay fork, a baseball bat, carving wood, using power tools without damaging joints and cartilage, and chopsticks no less. This all comes to mind. The “flower” and range of motion forms intent, safety. Sorry to be long winded but it is a key movement of life around every corner so to speak. Thank you so much for the lesson and reflection ❤

OK. The tassel is used to capture your opponent arm or wrist. Or to faint , to distract them . I've never heard of this tying the tassel to one side ?? It sounds crazy 🤪 A sword designed for both sides but you put the tassel on one side meaning it gets in the way, can't be used to take away a weapon ??? Please explain this !! I practice many hours to keep the tassel long and controlled !! Now you say this is wrong ??

Thanks for your comment, my background is athlete, we use from for national competitions, the from and speed is very fast, to put tassel on one side and make it short, it will follow your move and sword much faster, but if you do more traditional style, or Taichi style, is not too much in your way, I also do long tassel sword, I will make videos master to compare two different types of the sword tassel! The short tassel designed to keep your sword balance. Again, there are many ways to use, my just from many years of training and teaching, from wushu competition point of view, if you have any other way to use, that’s great!! But if you really go for speed, for better results on the sword from, the shorter the tassel, the easier it get! Thanks so much for your comment

Is there a reason why you hold the sword so high on the guard (outside of balance). I was taught to never "choke" the guard and leave a space between my hand and the guard. i find your way makes the sword easier to wield, it feels lighter and more nimble, but grabbing the sword lower gives a bit more reach and keeps your hand safer when fencing. I'm not saying you're doing it wrong by all means, I'd just like to know why you do it this way. Also in my school we get yeld at when we grab the sword like you do ^^

If you fell the sword flowing better by hold closer to your sword guard, it want I am try to tell everyone, the sword is park of your body while you are play with it, but for fencing is different, also, listen to your master, each teacher will teaching the way they think is the best, also from their master. I background is athlete, we do for competition, the from need to be super fast, buy holding fat, we can do the moves so fast!

7:45 You are teaching great... the way you skip weapons to show 3 sec.-staff stuff in slowmotion... and i love you hear from your experience...because when you learn kung fu or tai chi in germany you have to be very lucky to get a teacher that has the wisdom usability and the spirit you need to have to become good in martial arts i think... ANd what i have seen on your side is more than great.... i really enjoy your show swinging my staff trying not destroy the rest of the lamp on the roof xD but i think its a pleasure or how to say it more respectful, its an honor to learn from your teachings... i think you and Zak Song make me become a killing machine xD ready to safe some old and maybe some young ladies xD My kids were impressed as well when i showed em xD
