We appreciate the feedback, using the back camera is something we have discussed in the past and we could bring it back to the team, meanwhile the center box is a tool for you to block the reading, in case you cannot see the screen in the right angle for your light, you just need to tap once in the screen while the phone is facing the light and the reading will be locked there for you to see.

KAI will only turn ON/OFF your heater's socket, based on the temperature values. That being said, you can program set temperature ranges for as many specified periods as you'd like, so this functionality can be achieved. We also have users currently who are working with programmable/dimmable heaters to accomplish a ramp-up using KAI. In our terrarium, we are using a low-powered heater that naturally allows for a ramp up period, and the terrarium's low ventilation allows for a natural ramp down within our set times. That's I have had my rafts for three years. And when I purchase mine Beaver Plastics didn't carry them and at the time I suggested that they should make some for the rafts .they told me to go a outside source and Patant them through a invention company...I'm glad they took my advice and made some..thats

Great questions! There is no “one size fits all” answer but here are some things that can help. Ideal nitrogen levels would be 5-15 ppm but it does depend on lighting, co2 and other conditions. Too high or too low, and algae can occur. Before doing a water change you can test it to see how much nitrogen is left. If it is below 5ppm you can consider an additional half dose during the week or splitting up the original dose. If starting a new setup, it is normally not recommended to add fertilizer for at least the first 20-30 days, but this does vary. Plants are not fully established or rooted well enough to consume all the nutrients in the water column. Test and aim for 5-10ppm. Phosphate and nitrate ratios can be a bit more tricky to establish as there are many variables. TDS is not something we focus on too much, unless we are housing certain livestock that is impacted by it, such as fancy shrimp. The idea is to have consistent parameters.. Rather than chasing a magic number. We have seen beautiful planted aquariums with high and low TDS.
