That looks awesome! This keep getting better and better! I'd leave the front as is. Don't need that 7-tree scraping the ground!

Can't you measure the distance to the front wheel arch from the floor and let enough air out of the tires to drop the front of the car the two inches you would get with the spindles and go from there. Love it LOW -
@Simon_Says_Garage10 сағат бұрын
Good idea. I had the thought of leaving rear aired out and take front wheels off and lower it with a jack to see also
@Smallblock_Saloon23 сағат бұрын
Looks mean sitting that low. I like it !

Drop spindles and skirts in back to cover the wheels.

@lownoma93Күн бұрын
Definitely drop spindles and adjust your 4 link a little to center the rear wheels in the wheel well and it will center the axle in the notch better for more drop (will have to raise the upper bag mount some more) and also it should pull the drive shaft out of the transmission too.
@Simon_Says_Garage10 сағат бұрын
Yes i did figure out a solution for the tire centering but good eye

Nothing wrong with going back a few steps to go forward. As long as it makes you happy in the long run. I think I’d leave the front as is, but it’s your’s. Question is, what does Simon want?
@Simon_Says_GarageКүн бұрын
Right it's all about the journey
@robertkuster6389Күн бұрын
Looks good! Maybe cut out the body some more around the rear wheels and build some fender skirts so you don't see any wheel.

I think go as low as you can then add bump stops to limit drop, as long as you still get the drive height wanted.

And, make a bigass shaker cover for the top of the engine that bolts to the engine and doesn't touch the hood. Thinking like a 70s trans am air cleaner on a 6.6 liter was. Just an idea

You can get more weld if you move it to the top. And you dont have to do the dreaded "weld upside down" . If it's too low, you can always put a spacer on top of the bag.
@Simon_Says_Garage10 сағат бұрын
Good call on the spacer 🤔

Wow.. Way to dig back into this. As long as you're this far into it, I'd opt for getting the 4"+ drop in the rear. That will look sick. --- I may have some 1" around here I used for the challenger bracing if you run into a pinch.

Wheel wells and a different style of panhard bar. There is one that has two bars and a pivot in the middle. That will keep the differential in the center no matter what height it’s at.

I have the same problem. Due to changing my front tire set up. Went with a smaller front tire to keep it from rubbing. And even though mine ALMOST lays out the ass end sits slightly higher. I think the stock rear shocks bottom out. So when I drop my gas tank to fix the leak I'll install shorter shocks to see if that fixes my problem.
